I love the art style and the FE and AW series I'm considering picking it up.

Get it, it's great.

Fairly short and not a lot of replayability but its pretty fun

Is the time waiting for the enemy turns as bad as it sounds? Some people have made it out to be a complete game killer.

There was an update a few weeks after release that lets you fast-forward through enemy turns at 2x speed. On the New 3DS, you can get 3x speed. It was never a problem to me.

Bought it for a pittance during some sale or other, and it was great fun. I kinda liked the first one more, even if it was completely different, but I'm a sucker for... Whatever that digging genre is.

replaying with handicaps on the earlier levels was neat for a while. Too bad no amount of difficulty sliders can change how OP some party members were.

Get it. Great fun and the plot gets even crazier than you thought a game about Lovecraftian aliens attacking Steampunk America could get.

Flash Dorothy was meh and EL CALIENTEI was okay tho.

It is VERY game killing. The problem isn't so much that it makes you wait, it's that it makes you wait for enemies you can't see. So the camera just idles on your character for a good 20s doing nothing until ALL the enemies are done moving.
And you have to wait that 20s every fucking turn, every fucking match. It really gets to you.

If you don't have a 3ds that can do 3x speed, don't even fucking bother.

Once you get into the game and see all the little touches they put into creating the graphics, it grows on you a lot.
