Ys VIII

>Comes out next week
>literally zero threads for Ys VIII on Sup Forums.

hmm I though Sup Forums liked falcom games

Ys is dead

is that pic from the vita version?

>have the LE preordered
>live in miami
I'm not getting it until this fucking asshole hurricane fucks off

>tfw you didn't get invited for the beta

yes

I can't play it because I don't have a supercomputer

I'm just gonna buy Ys 7 and replay that

Falcom threads on Sup Forums are shit these days, user. Where have you been?

Ys' fanbase are old pcfags and psp/vitafags, Sup Forums is full of teen nintenbros who only play Nintendo games and sonybros who only "play" cinematic experience.

I'll play it but I"M surprised by the $60 price tag. I'm more excited about Zwei 2.

Beta invites were already sent?

PS4 release correct?
I've played Origins and Oath and enjoyed both immensely, classic video game fun. Are the newer Ys games true to the core gameplay of those? If so I'll definitely pick it up.

Vidya only likes legend of heroes for some reasons.
Pretty much but they are much easier.

>$60

>modern ys game
>shoddy translation only vaguely defensible due to sub
>post-ao falcom in general
we like falcom games, not falcom garbage

The fuck, user. The beta already happened kek

Care to elaborate?

>party system shit
>adol has literally no armour
I'm still buying it despite modern Falcom being shit.

Party system is just the equivalent of different weapons types that were before. I don't see anything bad in it. If you want something like old ys games try nayuta no kiseki.

Because I already played it last year on my vita.

I've been trying to get through Oath of Felghana. I think I'm near the end but I suck so bad at this. I liked the demo for VIII a lot but I had to go with the Vita version because I'm too cheap to spend full price on it.

Is there anything different about the vita version other than graphics?

Doesn't the Vita version runs like ass?

I think it's 30fps instead of 60

PC release as well. And the newer Ys games uses the party system, where you have 3 characters, that you can switch with whenever you want. The combat is more or less the same, but some enemies are weak to certain characters, and you can't jump in SEVEN and Celceta

The textures in the PS4 demo gave me headaches on my TV, considering just getting the Vita version and saying fuck extra content
