No, the revolution certainly happened. But the right wing didn't rise because they were mad about the mean ole communists, but rather because of the myth that the german people were betrayed by seditious elements such as jews, labor unions, and liberalism.

Yep. like I said, the revolution happened, but it was specifically the idea that the war was lost due to liberal/leftist/jewish agitation, and that germany needed to rid itself of these elements if it wanted to achieve some mythical height, that led to the rise of the right.

No I mean that fascists didn't believe in Marxist equality and they supported private property. They also didn't like how Marxists believed that Marxism was a natural course of history, that no human will was involved, they (especially people like Mussolini) wanted a more active ideology that was driven by active will than cynical determinism.

Might want to look into The Dark Mod. Standalone, highly customized, and community is still pretty active. A lot of the maps are Thief'ish, but a lot of the better maps play out like a Hitman mission with loot locked up if you're a greedy cunt
