>Just got Destiny 2
>7 GB patch
>Wont let you play the game without updating it first.
It's garbage, Larry. Hot garbage. What a great game Bungie, can't even play the game I just wasted $60 on.

>waah I can't play the game without downloading it first
That's not even a legitimate thing to be upset about, even less so when you consider the fact it's just 7 GB.
You're cancer for even considering spending $60 on this after the first game was hot garbage.
>complaining about 7 GB in 2017
I'm guessing you have 8 GB of RAM too.
OP must either only play indie shit or hasn't played a modern game in years because that's been an industry standard since the Xbox 360/PS3.
Don't worry, even with the patch, you still wasted $60 on it.
>Buying AAA Multiplayer shooter at Launch in 2017
Literally just set your money on fire next time please. Also buy the double xp potion that lasts 4 hours on the in-game store! Be sure to chug a validation can to earn quadruple xp!
>first game was hot garbage
It was okay.
>industry standard
Sucks pretty bad, shouldn't be.
Not clever
Had the same thing when I first put in Everybodys Golf
You do realize it's on PS4 and not PC, right? PC version doesn't come out till the end of October, and I just think it's stupid you can't play without downloading the update first. Most PS4 games will let you play while the patch downloads in the background.
I sort of hate how consoles do this. Buy a new game, it installs 30+ gigs of data, then downloads a 5+ gig of an update. I only have 8 games on my PS4 installed at any given time because they do this shit.
Why even keep the disk? They should make it so you can just install the game and play whenever you want.
Most PS4 games also have an offline single player component too. Destiny doesn't
>playing an fps on console at 30 fps
lol
I watched a stream with Destiny 2 a bit and it looked so boring, waves of unimpressive enemies and tedious shooting. It looks so monotonous and unexciting.
What's the appeal?
Gear treadmill. People eat that shit up.
>pays 60 dollarinos so it can buy a game
>pays another 60 so he can actually play the game
serves you right for being a console faggot and giving money to Activision.
You can't play without internet so even if you did have the patch it wouldn't matter.
Do more research before you purchase something next time, retard.
The two reviews I watched made me super pissed that they are calling it destiny 2. Its barely an expansion they're they'repushing as a full game. Its a fucking joke.
Branding.

They wanted to make Destiny work for a decade but the game barely worked for a couple of years.
They had no choice but to reboot it with "2" while the game looks, plays and in fact exactly the same as the "first" part.
it's like a shooter, but you can customize your guns, armor, and superpowers
>brag about spending 500 million on first game
>lie and say it was spread out for the "trilogy"
>sequel is the exact same game but with a higher level of advertising
Everyone misunderstands the "10 year plan" thing
They never said it was for ONE game, tbey meant they had a plan for Destiny as a series.
Whats with the hate? Game has good gunplay and it is fun to play together. It feels like Diablo but then in a FPS Genre.
Don't bother. It's easier for people to cling onto this, you'll just be ignored.
