That's because it's now a content platform as opposed to a video sharing community. An experimental little social network. It's hard to articulate it without writing huge autistic essay about the slow removal of social features and changes to the algorithm making it so that you only find content Youtube deems potentially profitable as opposed to actually related videos making the discovery of new and weird people that don't conform to current trends nearly impossible unless tipped off from an outside source, but in a nutshell Youtube is now a business. A sort of user generated TV alternative. It simply isn't the same site it was a decade ago.

In general, I get about a hundred views per video.
As I said, the past 3 months, I have been doing home renovations and havent uploaded.

Gotcha. Yeah, I dont really enjoy lets plays, you are right there.
The only reason I started doing them was because it was recommended for a "healthy" gaming channel. I am probably not going to do it again once I finish Shinovi Versus. But I really have had fun streaming live, and interacting with 2 or 3 of my subs that come to watch and chat.

On a side note, I had a lot of complaints with the game
The combat felt dull as and visually unresponsive
I despised the hacking minigame and the gall of Taro to shove down an entire section based solely on this mechanic still baffles me but then again I should level my expectations
I also thought that the first 50% of the playthrough were pretty lackluster, while starting of with a bang slowly turns into wandering around, mindlessly following quest markers, fighting the same 3 enemies until you get to a cutscene or a boss
The decision to gate the other 50% of the game behind having you play the same stuff you JUST did the last 5 hours seriously turned me off and I put the game down for like 3 months at that point
The soundtrack also felt lacking when compared to OG NieR but that's just my opinion

Well in terms of overall writing/progression and characters, I personally think NieR has Automata beat by a landslide
It also does the whole camera changing thing in a more focused and interesting way
In Automata it felt more slapped on like they were thinking "oh people liked this, we can do it again", it's not as bad as I make it seem but they certainly didn't have a bigger purpose in mind than it being a successful feature in the previous title
The combat also, despite people hating on it for being tedious and repetetive feels a lot more alive and visceral, since you're not just fighting robots
There's also this underlying desperation felt throughout which makes it a lot more tense and interesting to me than Automata, which never really grabbed me in that way
I did find the idea of how Automata handled the different endings a lot better but the overall execution definitely made it a worse game overall in my opinion
By the way I only asked for your OSTs because you mentioned it in your video as being in your top 3 of all time
I couldn't fathom people preferring Automatas OST over NieR so I got curious
Hell, I'd even put Drakengard 1s soundtrack above it based on the tone and unique-ness alone
Maybe play NieR and see if you'd agree with anything I said, I'd like to think I'm not alone in my opinion

Watched a bit of your review and have a few comments as someone who likes to watch video game review shit on youtube. I've only seen the first couple minutes so far though.
Cut the intro. Also reconsider what "minor spoilers" are. The alien reveal is a bit more than a minor spoiler, though it does come early in the game. Your line of questions after that actually spoils the other reveals as well.
Comparing the hack and slash gameplay to something between Devil May Cry and Dynasty Warriors is a really weird comparison. It's more like Bayonetta-lite. Especially because you talk about the Platinum angle, why not make a comparison to a Platinum game?
The writing is also a little dry. Maybe it's just because of years of horrible cynicism but a few of your sentences feel like they came out of an average IGN review.
