ocarina of time
Depends what you want. Pennywise being the weakest part of the film makes it pretty shit to me.
Wow, Violator looks great in the new Spawn movie.
WE ALL
They made It more demonic than Tim Curry, which is fine because the children's nightmares are far superior.
...
It might be my nostalgia but curry played the clown way better
Also VIDEO FUCKIN GAMES
I haven't seen this yet but I don't like how they made Pennywise look scary all the time. In the book and even the Tim Curry miniseries, he was supposed to look friendly and approachable at first before getting all freaky. In this one, he looks creepy at all times.
>americans are unironically afraid of clowns
Except the original wasn't even a movie.
Just another STEPHEN KING budgetary straight-to-television afternoon special sort of production an entire generation of 90's kids claim is a horror movie.
It's just sadly one of the more popular ones.
>HE LOOKS MORE MEAN AND SCARY AND DEMONIC THAT MEANS IT'S BETTER
He's a clown for fucks sake. He's not supposed to look scary all the time. But let's just make him look scary all the time instead of being subtle with the way we frighten people. Fuck Hollywood.
So does the new movie have the 11 year old gangbang scene?
I'm ironically afraid of hamsters
No but the implication her being the slut of the group is still there.
>doesn't even have the loli gangbang
What was the fucking point then?
Curry Clown was spookier because it wasn't just "le savage zombie", his whole appearance was uncanny valley and sudden appearance change was used in moderation, that scene in the shower room was terrifying.
He's not a clown. He's an eldritch abomination from beyond the universe.
He just fucking loves to feed on childrens fear. Its like heroin for him.
I am split though, because I wish pennywise was charismatic or at least slightly less freaky til he starts to get closer instead of mental.
The thing is when he spoke and taunted the kids he genuinely sounded the part, he just didn't do it enough.
Christ get it right, it wasn't a gangbang, they ran a train on her.
But does it have giant spider?
>that scene in the shower room was terrifying.
This was the one scene from the movie I ever saw for a long time when I was really young, and it made me terrified of a goddamn Bozo the clown doll my mom had. Fucking Bozo. I'm glad Juggalo's made clowns funny again, those were embarrassing times.
What new meme is this for real? I've seen this five times today
the makeup and monster design was so good
IT Chapter 1 isn't a horror movie. It's more of a coming of age movie. Really isn't scary at all. It is actually quite a funny movie.
I've never understood the clowns are scary meme.
Because its true if you've read the books it ain't a meme.
Yeah and the whole point of it transforming into a clown is to draw in children. Meaning it's dumb to make it look like it's demonic all the time. He lures them in with smiles and then turns demonic.
Fucking this
also the last guy to do her is king's "stand in"
stephen king liked the movie
I know.
But I mean this phrase. I've only ever heard it today. Was just wondering why all the popularity all of a sudden.
In the book the boys run a train on the girl in the sewers to "strengthen their bond".
he also didn't like the shining
hope you aren't talking about It, because bill skarsgard's pennywise can't even hold a candle to tim curry's
WUZ
I guess they just skipped it because honestly clowns look freaky enough and its hard to relate to modern audiences. They did nail the demonic and cosmic horror-ish aspects of him but the insidious creep factor is gone. Like he can barely keep himself from drooling over georgie outside of the first stilted jokes.
FLOATIN
>reading these threads and how easy it is to spot people who never read the book or haven't watched the mini series in at least a decade
its been a thing forever, but black culture (and ironic black culture on Sup Forums) is always on the rise for some reason. at least i think its a black culture phrase, it certainly is juxtaposed frequently
doesnt the book this is based on have a chapter where the main girl fucks all the boys for some vauge reason???
>mini series
Didn't even know there was one. How is it?
It's the one with Tim Curry.
Yeah. She's like 11 too
So is this supposed to be a 2 parter? The few trailers I've seen focus only on the kid sections, though that was the bulk of the book from what I can remember.
Not a new phrase
>movie
???
It's a fucking MINISERIES
The original IT wasn't that good so I can't imagine that's too hard.
Did they include the child orgy in the remake?
The It (1990) movie is not a movie but a two episode series. The second episode is hilariously bad.
Yes. It ends with them defeating Pennywise the first time.
Im assuming Steven king just kinda accidentally wrote parts of his personal porn novel on to this book by accident?
horror writers tend to be pedos, its pretty weird
>retards don't realize it was cut into a movie as well so that's how a lot of people viewed it
>no fifth grader orgy
trash
>eldritch demon from an age and dimension beyond our comprehension
>literally can't kill anyone directly unless they're afraid of him
>Yeah and the whole point of it transforming into a clown is to draw in children
Not really. In the novel It assumes the clown form when dealing with adults too. For some reason that's just the form It favors the most as its "normal" appearance regardless of who It's dealing with.
"Running a train" has been a common phrase in black culture for years now user but the only people who even spew that phrase are ironic shitposters more than anything
Also Running a train means everyone in the group gets their individual turn on a woman rather than a gangbang where everyone jumps in at once
You not being aware of it doesn't mean it isn't old as shit.
King was high when he made some of his books.
Is this better than the Dark Tower movie? I still haven't seen it, but the trailers looked fucking atrocious. I'm not even a big fan of the books, but the impression I got from the trailer is that it's fucking worse than Song of Suzannah.
>MUH TIM CURRY
>MUH SHOWER SCENE
And then people forget to mention how fucking awful the entire adult episode was. There is not enough memes in the world to convince people that the original IT will be any way better than 2018 IT Chapter Two.
Run a train is everyone having sex with a girl, but one at time, right?
Just watch the Tim Curry scenes and skip the rest honestly.
Can anyone post the part from the novel where the orgy happens?
guess he didnt think it through, strange that this book got a movie release with that sort of graphic content in it
it might have come after IT, but there was a literal serial killer of children that was a party clown; Gacy. then again the fear could have been before then, but after both it doesnt seem like an outlandish fear
Well they are a bunch of kids going through puberty who were going up against some monster, and probably thought they were going to die. They didn't wanna die virgins
>literally can't kill anyone directly unless they're afraid of him
That's not true at all. It literally says that it spends so much time fucking around with people and scaring them because fear makes them taste better. It can still fucking kill you whether you're afraid of it or not. But it's still bound by physical laws in this realm so once you man up and stop being afraid of it that just means you can fight back.
Yeah like Juicy J said, "let's call the boys let's run a train"
>Fat kid got cucked.
It was a nice change to see a remake where they keep true to the source material, It was years ago now but Annie still triggers me.
They were going to, but the girls parents said no, so they didn't include it.
yeah but for it to be the first thing to pop in your head when writing a... climax... its pretty weiird
what is the story behind the clown? what can this nigga do and what he really is?
Isn't the last guy also the one with the biggest dick?
Ocarina of Time 3D
Nitpicking lighting fags be damned, more positives than negatives
I want to also say Majora's Mask 3D but the autism would explode so i wont since I kind of agree they shouldn't have added free saving
Also older clowns were crazy assholes and not just goofy dudes in make up that make balloon animals.
The original had a better story. Remake has no substance. Just fancy cgi and jump scares.
Wasn't it after they "killed" him for the first time? I thought they were lost in the sewers when it happened. And virginity has nothing to do with it. The surface level answer is something about how Beverly thought that having sex was an adult activity and she thought it'd make them clearer minded like adults. Or some stupid shit like that. The real reason was so King and his Constant Readers could fap.
apparently he's from another dimensions with like....
turtle gods?
idk just dont look up backstories it all smells like weed
He's a demon who turns into what people fear the most
He specifically craves children, which is why we see him as a clown, because that is the kids fear
I'm not sure the idea that writing fiction that contains adolescent sexuality makes you a pedo is a healthy one.
You were a kid. Sexuality, when you went through puberty, was definitely something that existed in your realm of awareness. For such a fact to be completely off limits to talk about or even just reference seems to be a product of our weird hangups with sex more than it serves any actual purpose.
Shows way too much and that cgi is pretty awful. Having him crawling away with his damn arm off is pretty intense though. I don't like the "more teeth = more spook" meme.
I cannot wait for that scene to be gif'd in the highest definition possible.
stephenking.wikia.com
tl;dr, it's actually some eldritch horror from a different universe/dimension that landed on earth million of years ago. The clown is just one of the physical form it assumes while on earth. Its real form is a being of shapeless lights known as the Deadlights that drive you crazy if you look upon them. Stephen King was a huge Lovecraft fan if it wasn't obvious.
He was going through a coke addiction when he wrote some of his early books.
I think he pretty much admitted that was was coked up as fuck when he wrote that pedo orgy.
So is the big fucking spider just a miniseries thing?
>implying bike rides aren't magical
yeah the shot from above looks so bad, something about how it focused in on georgie crawling away just looked off.
still a really creepy scene tho
No, the spider form is in the novel too. The spider is just to closest thing to It's true form that the human mind can comprehend without going crazy.
theres a difference between adolescent sexuality and
>several young children run a train on an eleven year old girl
im all for creative expression but being so crass and crude about it just makes me think you just wanted to put in a scene of kids fucking for no real reason other than to say " Oh i made a movie about a book where kids fuck before they fight a giant clown spider"
I don't get it, he can't assume a Godzilla or something Satan related with the size of a building to fuck with everyone?
...
>can only virgins see this guy or what
>The original had a better story.
How to spot a virgin who didn't go to the movies. The 2017 Losers Club had an objectively superior cast, all of which has proper character development and screentime unlike the miniseries.
Second to last
>KISS ME FAT BOI
I dunno it has its moments
Is there a place I can pay to watch this online?
>People genuinely think this cartoon ass fucker is scary.
The original was kinda stupid, but I'm stunned people are into this cornball remake.
I mean are you shitting me?
His teeth don't even look like they're touching the arm very hard
He afforded his cocaine addiction treatments with the money he got from Cujo and he wrote it while high off cocaine.
That fucking cat just sat there and let the kid get eaten. That's why dogs are master race.
