I know how much everyone hates them, but actual physical models of the parts that had amiibo NFC chips inside that fit together somehow (magnets?) would be a dream come true. In fact, just having them exist at all would be great, but I feel like that would be a little more enticing for Nintendo to seriously consider.

It'd probably be most efficient to just have the NFC chip in the body itself, and each body comes with a gun + bomb + pod + leg, each of which being interchangeable with any other bodies you owned. How the scanning would interact with the gameplay, I don't know.
