I liked Urban Strike better.

All the STRIKE games are good

Did you play Soviet/Urban/Nuclear on the ps1?

IMO Urban was the weakest of the three. Purely subjective observation though. Hated the rooftop rescue missions.

Nah - were they comparable to the originals?

Yes, they were excellent.

Used to rent the fuck out of this and Urban Strike from Blockbuster every week. Great games.

Agreed. Jungle Strike was fucking GOAT. Loved that game.

Wish EA made a new Strike game, but will unlikely happen.

Own all 3 of the Mega Drive ones, and I have some very fond memories of these as a kid. Does anyone remember that mission you get out of the chopper and storm the building on foot? I think it was a casino or something. If so, which game was it in?

Why are you posting Commandos 2?

>Genesis/mega drive/snes

You mean amiga

>>You mean amiga

Those ports came later, did it even get Urban Strike?

Soviet and Nuclear Strike were also good. Future Cop L.A.P.D was a decent spin off (dat vs mode thou)

Urban Strike, that one had the missions on foot.

Wait. Future Cop LAPD was a spin off?

No wonder I liked it so much.

desert strike was the best on amiga, you scrub

Jungle strike on the SNES was my favorite. That game was Commanche porn.
Was really stoked for Urban strike, but my friend and I didn't like it as much. I even owned the Strategy guide for some reason.

Urban Strike is the one where you can blow up the white house on accident therefore it's best

Anyone played Renegade Ops here? I found it slightly similar to these games, although much more arcady and goofy.

Can't you do that in the first stage of Jungle Strike?

Were you listening to Myth of the 20th Century, OP?

Its original name was "Future Strike". Yeah, it totally was.

It's the"X was best on Amiga" fag again, hi

I picked up Nuclear Strike for the PS1 a couple weeks ago. Haven't played it yet but out of the three games I got it would be the first I'd play.

FLASHBACKS

Dont mind me guys im just here to be a complete knock off that's still pretty fun but bs hard!

I absolutely disliked Jungle/Urban, new vehicles controlled like ass, they didn't really add any new mechanics, and the only way they increased the difficulty is by creating fatter units like those cancerous Abramses. Desert is basic, straightforward and because of that plays better.

I remember liking Urban best as a kid, but I might need to go back and replay them all now. I just liked the ground missions.

I think I was playing a game like that on my Pentium 75

Urban Strike felt sluggish as hell when I played.
Jungle Strike is my fave

Tbh it's like Urban Strike done right, sat. map is cool, graphics are truly the peak of 16-bit consoles, sound effects and especially music are god tier, but critical damage part was probably a bit too much, shit is annoying and occurs at random.

funny that these games were quite complex for kids and I played the fuck out of them as a kid

Damn, that looks real similar to Sub Terrania

Best part of Jungle Strike.
That and getting Wild Bill. Muthafucka could shoot FAST.

Same people, including the composer Jesper Kid.

I can post whatever I damn well feel like.

GOT IT?!

this game gave me pangs of the strike series

No shit? That's cool.

I crushed that shit so much. Two player with my bro was fucking awesome. One on guns, the other on legs.
