Stop buying new games when you have a backlog.
Stop buying new games when you have a backlog
but they're only $0.79
gay lol
what do i do with money then?
I can't help it I keep trying honest but then i see something new and flashy.
yeah everyone should stop buying games until they've cleared all their obscure untranslated visual novels, that will be great for the industry
But this game I heard of on Sup Forums one time is like a dollar, I can't just pass it up.
>buying
Anything on my backlog is generally major fucking garbage I made the mistake of buying
no lol
>Buy game
>Take 4-5 hours to get to know the game's systems
>Drop game
>backlog
What kind of autist thinks like that? Just play games you feel like playing
>want to play new games
>play 15 minutes
>go back to Titanfall 2
I seriously needed this reminder, thank you.
>Buys games
>Doesn't play them
What retard doesn't do this?
Are you me?
I don't give a fuck about my """backlog"" and niether should you. Only autists have shit like this
I stopped participating in steam sales and am slowly going through all the sales games I bought over the years. I think I'm good for the next couple years at the speed I'm going.
I'm trying, I really am
But there's always just that one title, and it'd be even easier to pirate...
>Pony shit
Stop telling me what to do, kid.
It's more of a case of not finishing. Some games overstay their welcome
I love Twilight Sparkle!
stop trying to summon him
>buying games
>having a backlog
Just ordered Persona 5 and MonHanS, what you gonna do about it?
The less AAA shit everyone is buying, the better.
This generally happens to me with games that look fun at first glance, but are really tedious and fundamentally lacking in real content once you play them a few times.
Thank you, waifu
>being this new
There is no backlog
Merely lower priority games
>missing the joke
You're the one who's new here, friend.
Whenever I buy a new game, there's 3 outcomes that could happen:
-I'll stick through it from start to finish
-I'll play it for some time, stop, play something else that I frequently play (like TF2), return to the game and either play a good chunk of it or finish it
-Play the game for a while and stop because the game's terrible or something
I want to stick with the first choice as much as possible but the 2nd outcome managed to be the one that kept on bugging me.
I usually buy a game, play about 1/3rd of it or a little less, drop it for a while, then finish the rest rather quickly
So, almost every damn rougelike?
Post the one where she fell and shows off her huge ass
Not to start another flamewar, but that really depends on whether you mean "actual roguelikes" or "whatever shitters think roguelikes are these days".
Fuck off horse fucker
11 years is new here now i guess
>trying to finish Ys Origin on Nightmare before LoD is out
Season 2 when?
I can't. I had 121 games that I have not played, and I just bought 2 more.
I'm trying, and my purchasing has slowed down a lot this year compared to last, and now I'm broke as fuck until I get autismbux
Next year should be the year that I start turning things around, and start beating games faster than I'm buying them
I've actually started working on that, amazingly. Starting from the top. I'm pretty much going through every game I own on Steam, beating them, getting any single-player achievements, reviewing them in detail, and moving onto the next one.
I do keep buying games though...
>game I've been anticipating for ages comes out, get it day 1
>"fuck yeah, I've been waiting for this!"
>play it for a few days, then tail off/start playing something else
>stays in backlog until I come back to it maybe several months later
>game I've had little interest in with middling/alright reviews goes on sale
>"might as well pick this up since it's cheap, I guess"
>start playing
>get completely stuck in and it's all I play until I finish it
FUCK
