Wow great argument you sure proved me wrong
And yet blu rays are still fucking shit
>leaving your beta key visible
Wolfenstein: The New Order was released in 2014. The 360 was all but dead by then, and everyone had moved onto the Xbox One. Multiple discs is what you'd expect from porting a current gen game back to last gen.
Funny, I thought it was Kinect
...
>died
It retired after a long blockbusting career you underage shit
You mean the console that was constantly sold throughout the longest generation of consoles so far?
Such a dead platform, wew
May i ask what is wrong with blu-rays?
...
>40 million selling
>killing console
lol some of you.
The 360 had a great start with tons of must have exclusives. Then around the time the Kinect came out, all the exclusives stopped and all the must have exclusives started appearing on the PS3.
Nevertheless, the 360 was a massive success for Microsoft.
Blu rays reading speed is slow af, you have to install the whole game on your hard drive
Switching to Disc based game consoles was the biggest mistake ever
That's what Streaming Install is for. You can play the game while it's being installed.
Disc based systems result in cheaper games than cartridge systems. Look at the price of LA Noire on the Switch for an example.
Because a video game came out during it's declining years after being on the market for 9 years?
What were the must have exclusives for the PS3?
>Wow great argument you sure proved me wrong
Prove yourself right first you idiot
>you have to install the whole game on your hard drive
and this is a problem how?
>died
you from some alternate timeline?
You didn't even post Lost Odyssey you sackless faggot. At least use an example that doesn't make you look completely retarded next time.
Let it be known that this is why the ps1 died
One of the appeals of a console is that it just werks, used to be that you'd slap the game in and start to play, now there's firmware updates, game installation, game updates and after you can play, why even buy a physical copy also? You'll need to insert the disc to play but if you buy it digital then you'll also have to install but don't need to bother with discs.
>came out when the new consoles were released
Lost odyssey had 4 disc as well. What is the point of this thread? Your shitposting isn't really funny at all.
one of the appeals of computers a long time ago that it just werks too. buy a prebuilt apple or PC, slap in quake 3 into the cd rom drive, play the game from the disc drive as the full hard drive install was optional.
now you're expected to build your own pc, get a copy of your own OS, install online DRM like Steam, and install 50gb+ worth of data and patches.
Wolfenstein TNO came out 8.5 years after the 360 first launched. By then, it was a dated console that was long overdue for an upgrade (same goes for PS3 as well). The 360 didn't die because of DVDs, it died after an extensive but successful lifespan.
Well, that because the 360 is running on DVDs.
>old comuters
>it just werks
lol
>patches
You'd have to patch Quake 3 too since it's an online game

don't remind me of that shit.
What a dumb thread, not having to install games for most of the generation was a plus. Some games near the end of 7th gen required it but most games didn't, even when the PS3 version required it.
Remember when the PS1 was killed because FF7 came on three discs? Yeah me neither lmao, youre full of shit op
TNO is fucking huge. There's no reason for it to be that big
