The PSP was an amazing portable console, maybe one of the greatest.

Having all the PS1 library homebrew, and a power similar to the PS2 in your hands.

One of the reasons why the PS2 sold well was because of people buying it as a DVD player.

They thought people were going to repeat the craze with BR.

Similar with Microsoft trying to market the Xbox One a media center/tv companion, there are a lot of more TV users than gamers and videogame companies were trying to get to that market.

I had an original 1000 model and a launch DS (later gifting it and getting a Lite). Lots of great stuff on both handhelds.

Witnessing the Revolution reveal and the infamous E3 afterwards with Sup Forums was great.
