Yeah, I legitimately can't remember a single track. Weird, that. I guess it was as bland and mediocre as everything else in the game. There's like one song in this game that's memorable to me. The fact that I spent the majority of the game listening to tracks from older FFs speaks volumes about the game's soundtrack. Honestly I'd say the mere fact they included the option to listen to older songs during regular gameplay in the first place shows even SE knew how bland it was.

XV has by far the most forgettable soundtrack in the series. There's exactly 1 piece of music in the entire game that caught my attention at all, and that's the first 30 seconds or so of the ambient music that will play during mornings outside. That's it.

Honestly, the biggest problem is not FFXV's soundtrack itself, but the game's lack of memorable or emotionally-charged scenes. No one is going to give a fuck about the Ifrit boss fight or the town cities a few months after playing because those parts themselves were pretty forgettable.
They also didn't know HOW to use the songs they had either. Playing Somnus the way they did in Lucis before the final battle was absolutely abhorrent.
