Don't play on hard unless you want to dick wave. If you want to have access to all the skills you end up macca grinding due to hard mode inflating the cost of all store items and you end up tediously punching rocks in the Alma tunnels.

Don't listen to this guy. Money is only a problem in the early game. Mid game you get enough skills that you don't need to buy shit and money is easy to come by in the end game. You shouldn't need to buy many consumables either.

Don't bullshit him, trying to get all the parasites is costly and is even more so on hard. Not only that it will cock block you hard if you do want to do some fusions because it will again up the cost on compendium demons which again makes the game more of a chore since fusing is a central mechanic of the game.

This. Hard mode in Nocturne is not like hard mode in other games. Hard mode is Poverty Mode. It increases grind, not challenge.

Like I said, you don't need to buy much magatama outside of the early game and by the endgame you can jump down holes in Amala for easy money. For fusions you can mostly just go recruit the monster again, so the compendium is rarely necessary.

Going all STR plus LUK for a Tard Strength build that destroys and wrecks anyone who doesn't resist bunchapunches.

Unless you have certain skills you want to pass down that isn't on a standard recruit-able demon.

The macca grind on hard is shit, stop defending it or waving it off as a non-issue. Not only that everyone has different play styles, I only use items I come across but others do like to purchase consumables in shops and again they can't buy jack shit and would have to tunnel grind which isn't fun and breaks the flow of the game.

Fine, I'll admit the macca farm is a problem, increased by how much you rely on the compendium and buying consumables. I genuinely think hard mode is more fun though overall. The enemies and bosses are more threatening so you have to play better. I don't know how OP likes his RPGs, so he might not like it.
