And it's fucking great too.
Does anyone know a Jap RPG for the PS1 with anime cutscenes and one of them is you walking in on a chick showering in a airship level? I played this game once when I was like 8 and it's been in the back of my mind for my entire life.
Never pass up the chance for a good reaction image
Oh fuck that takes me back
Goddamn Jap TWs making the early game grind fun
...
Played this all the time in highschool in my comp classes.
The Granstream Saga probably.
I remember a PS1 game where you play as a robot that looks like Metal Gear Rex.
It has isometric view and the robot dances during the credits of the game.
Does anyone know it?
The one with the blue haired childhood friend is better.
Not enough mecha RTS out there.
...
Pretty sure I'm the only motherfucker on this entire board that plays this
Darn it. I was late.

Re-played recently, still a great platformer and comfy on mobile.
I went KM so early game grind was a pain, game only for good for me at the BC2
Take a fucking seat. I'm calling the police.
I was going to save this but I don't know if I want to see that thing every time I open my reaction folder.
looks like Diablo sort of arpg. Any good?
please tell me what that is, reverse image search only brings moonrunes
I had this game as a kid only it was severely scratched and I remember not getting very far before the game would just give up.
This one?
It was a sudden confession. Kento’s classmate Aoi was like an unattainable flower whom he could only watch from afar. Now, Aoi stood in front of him in the classroom at night. “I love you! Please go out with me!” He couldn’t imagine that it would finally be his turn to get a girlfriend. He was convinced that he wasn’t that popular and it must be a punishment game, he ran away in confusion.
The next morning, the principal made an abrupt revelation: the school was actually a boys’ school! The cute kouhai in his club. The pretty, but delinquent-like senpai. Yes, that ‘girl’ who confessed to him last night too. They’re all guys!
All I remember was getting to the US BB3 before stopping. Game was absolutely unforgiving to early BBs. I liked playing CL/CA much more, but most people didnt
Future Cop: LAPD
Still waiting for English release.
Fucking hell, I didn't expect any replies. Thank you.
>that voice acting
The police have been called.
Its pretty good. Its Early Access. But if current content is any indication, finished game will be amazing. And devs actively respond to feedback and suggestions
can you read moonrunes, huh?
I'm reporting you as well. She's only twelve.
Thank you, user!
Give it another try, bro. Should be worth it.
Yeah, but this version is locked to single play only.
So no Netplay multiplayer.
どうぞ
Good. They can join in.
>Boktai
Yeah fag, totally no one played it.
It's on Steam Greenlight. I wonder if they'll still bring it over.
the people on that cover are boys
>cliffhanger ending
>no sequel
>GOG release never ever because Sony owns the IP
It's a great game.
what is this, this looks awesome
Psst, I think that's why he wants it, user.
This game was really popular back when it came out on Robotropolis, the forums for Strider's Mega Man Domain.
>Elebits 3 NEVER EVER
Loads of people played Boktai.
It's an old korean MMO called navyFIELD. You can still play it now but it has been dead for years. It used to have thousands of players on at any one time but now there's maybe 50 or so.
It's a less casual version of WoWS that predates it by nearly a decade
well thats a fuckin shame, I've been in the market for a nice mmo too
always play the ass card
try me
...

It's about as bad as it looks, if not even worse
When I was a kid some hero kept installing the demo for this on every computer in school. It was fucking awesome.

APPROACHING SOUND BARRIER!

A
NUT
I played this. It was pretty decent, and /ss/ ending was 10/10.
Despite it being an XCom game I don't tend to see many people here who know of it
Many would be disappointed that there's no colony management. But, the story-based progression is fun to play around with.
Hotseat-capable 2-player vs. mode with alien races selectable was also fun to play a few times.
There were like 5 ads and 2 articles for that game in every fucking Playstation magazine when it came out, how the hell didn't anyone play it.
...
Criminally underrated JRPG. I wish it had sold well.
How is that game compared to other modern diablo style games? I remember seeing a bit of gameplay back when it was first announced and it looked slow as fuck, and they mentioned only three classes.
tch...gay
Boktai was the fucking shit.
oh and the game has dinosaurs. Does your xcom have dinosaurs?
jokes on you motherfucker i loved boktai
...
Try Ring of Red for the PS2.
One of the first DS games I got. Had fun. I remember abusing the way XP worked for tons of easy free levels.
played the ever loving shit out of that game
...
And an underrated beat em up.
That game was awesome, cover art was fucking stupid though
This was hella fun. I wish Planetary Annihilation were a bit more like it
>Natsume: Serious Fun
I miss seeing that on games.
It actually lived up to the claim most of the time.
Haven't heard of that game, though.
...
This is the very first video game where I noticed boob physics were a thing. What a glorious game for my 12-year old self.
I'm probably the only person who spent 10 dollars on this game. I even have a shitty lets play of it. Posting part 2 because part 1 has terrible audio quality. m.youtube.com
Kingdom Hearts is light!
I've only actually played this in a demo disc.

The bk games I guess. I don't know anyone else that played all of them. I remember just asking for all of them for free.
I bought it and beat it when I was 7. The music is great.

so good
3 classes each with 3 subclasses. System actively uses cover system and environmental hazards throughout levels.
Missions themselves are categorized as 5 types.
Story mission (those are placeholdered atm for later update, but still playable placeholders for leveling purposes)
Priority Mission - Series of missions that you choose victory conditions, difficulty/reward level and strategic resources beforehand
Generic side missions
Glory Missions - Basically side missions, but harder and grant glory points which are for...
Uther's Tarot - You either random create or build a mission using 2 Minor Tarot Cards 1 major Tarot card. This determine mission difficulty and rewards during and after mission.
You can equip 2 weapon set which you can switch back and forth to during a mission, but cannot change inventory during otherwise. Attacks are determined by equipment/armor.
Armor = Suppression level. When your suppression level drops, you essentially "Break" combat and receive damage/speed debuffs.
Some weapons deal more damage to certain enemy types than others (Plasma/Melta deals more to heavy armor/vehicles)
I really wanted to try that when I modded my PS2 back in the day, but I ended up getting hooked on KH2FM and DQ5. There's a PSP sequel, right?
Yeah, kind of funky bryce-ish 3D. They did the same style on the Laser Squad Nemesis art (don't play that one it's bad).
This one is a bit better. Ruby is cute.
I liked how there was enough subtle systems to keep things interesting, not as complex as xcom tends to be but acceptable on GBA at the time.
pic forgotten
I loved this game when I was a kid
So no real open areas to wander and stuff? Mission based? Is there any real variation on gameplay styles or due to weapons being a focus is it all pewpew/melee with some skills? Seems like it would be limiting for class build variation.
But there's no ass card.
I'm still learning, but I'm already doing my best to translate pic related. It was very enjoyable in my first playthrough, even though I'm still confused about some things related to the final boss and the spirit world.
Menus: 100%
Locations: 100%
Main characters: 100%
Items: 100%
Attacks and Special Items: 100%
Virgil Special attacks / spirits: 100%
Main dialogues: around 40%

Too bad I can't into PS1 rom hacking, so I'll eventually need some help to start this project, at least until I finally finish the translation.
hot damn I wouldn't have felt embarrassed picking the game up from gamestop way back when if it looked like that
it was also great how you could just play skirmishes with whatever setups you wanted
the destructible terrain and stuff blew my mind back then that a gba game could seem so deep
I own this but it mostly annoys me with how slow everything happens
a bunch of Homebrew PSP games.
