The Switch includes a screen and speakers. With other consoles, you have to buy a TV separately, so they're actually more expensive than a Switch when you add it up!

You mean the joycons in the grip forming a makeshift controller? The problem is it's shit compared to a real controller. It doesn't have a real d-pad and the r-stick placement is in a very unnatural position for the thumb to move. The grip itself doesn't have a USB port for charging, unless you shell out another $30 because once again, it probably saved them a few pennies per unit to make the grips without a USB port
Assuming the Switch had the same games as the PS4 (which it obviously never will), it will cost you far more playing those games on the Switch than it would the PS4, which doesn't make sense since you're getting the lesser experience on the Switch. Weaker hardware, poorer performance

Not him, but I simply switched the USB Ethernet cord I bought for the Wii U to the Switch. It's probably throttling my connection speed though, since the Switch can use USB 3.0 as opposed to the Wii U's 2.0. But yeah, I agree the dock at least should have had a built-in port.

And I agree, that shit with needing to install on SD is bullshit, even when you own a physical copy of the game.
It's just really strange all around how they're so particualr about the type of card used for holding the game, making some proprietary type of cartridge rather than a more generic one
And I agree that all the extra costs of controller bits (extra shit for chargers and know USB-charger on the Grip) are shitty decisions but I've found the Grip Controller set up itself to be fine. Maybe it's just the shape and size of my hands but it feels fine andt he lack of a traditionally laid out D-Pad doesn't interfere in most of the games I play but that's just my anecdotal experience
And which titles are you saying will cost more as digital for both systems? The only one with a big price discrepancy is LA Noire and that's only on Physical if I remember correctly
And it's weaker hardware and poorer performance because it's a hybrid console. It's the most amount of power for that form factor available. The whole point is that it's portable as well, so I don't have to pack up a whole console and take it with me on vacation or when I'm traveling for work.
