Hollow knight probably has the best art and theming of any metroidvania i've played. The gameplay could potentially be better, but overall, it's an inarguably fantastic game.

The dev should have made a Turrican clone instead of a Metroidvania. Making enemies with better movement than you and giving you shit weapons is the perfect mix to convert the combat into a bait shitfest. I dropped it after the third boss.

Dude the drill wrecks just about everything in AV, and once you get the drone you can cheap out on a lot of areas by sending it instead of you to clean house.

I enjoyed it, I think it fits the whole aesthetic of a silent vessel with an unstoppable will. I feel like if he was some jacked up chad bug then he wouldn't fit the world, or the role as well.

I do not doubt it's a great game, but I think it has not achieved the fame it deserves because that nigger-chibi manlet.

Anyway, I'm waiting for this game to come out for the switch to play it. i'm pretty sure i will enjoy it.
