So I've been having a little bit of wrist pain, and grabbed this cheap vertical mouse ($15)

Holy fuck is it awkward to use.

Anyone ever used a vertical mouse? Am I using too much wrist, or is the thing fucked? or do I have to buy gold plated RAZR XTREME VertiPro™ for $200 get get equivalent functionality to my $1 crappo dell mouse?

they're a Sup Forums meme

This thing is inherently fucked and only intended for gullible autists or people with actual sever motor problems. Just use a wrist pad.

thumbnail looked like dragon dildo

Just get a thumb ball.

...

Have you tried changing how close you have your mouse to the edge of your desk? Maybe try adjusting the height of your chair. I had a similar issue with my left wrist hurting because it was resting on the edge of the desk at an awkward angle.

You're a dumbass

why

I have the exact model in the OP image, and I haven't had any problems with adapting to it. Maybe because I don't play games that require precise mouse inputs like RTS or FPS,

>Sup Forums meme
autists don't make or understand memes
you're supposed to say 'they're a product of Sup Forums autism"

...

In other words you play shit.

Just buy a forty dollar gaming mouse. They're designed to treat those problems.

>autists don't make or understand memes
This is the stupidest thing I've read all day

>not using a gun to control your gun

When you open it up it still looks like a dildo
OP is a faggot who likes penis

go home fag/g/ot

>Using glock
>no trigger safety

Why dont they just make it look more like a dong so it can be easier for you to handle.

He would probably be tempted to put it in his mouth or ass then.

OP here

Could it be something else? I don't play games. Literally sit in emacs from sun up to sun down.

Only mousework is in the web browser. To put some numbers to it I have trouble getting satisfactory accuracy for example in reaching the submit button (just timed it: 0.9 seconds).

Then again I never played any of those high dexterity games like starcraft so maybe I just haven't developed the same muscles. If that's it, I'll accept it, but I worry that maybe I need to watch some youtube tutorials or something. The shitty manual that came with it doesn't say anything.

>I don't play games.
Then why the fuck are you posting this here? Go to Sup Forums you faggot

>I don't play games.
Then why are you on Sup Forums you fucking mong

Whatever happened to the Novint Falcon? Was it that much of a piece of shit?

>why the fuck are you posting this here
fuck man

I thought this was Sup Forums

My bad you guys. Didn't mean to humble brag or whatever, just... up all night coding and sperging out about the mouse.

It's not like that's even uncommon here anymore

Yeah I had a /vg/ thread open and I must have deleted the wrong letter.

Coincidentally I guess this would be the first time I've unironically posted on Sup Forums. You guys aren't as bad as I'd been led to believe.

Here, have a video game meme.

>Sup Forums
>playing games

Newfag detected

You get used to them and they actually seem to make a difference for me.

The concept is good but the issue is that the product is made by retards. Unless Logitech or something makes one, it won't be useable.

Did you not wonder why every other thread was about video games?

...

Using a Posturite Penguin right now, wrist pain disappeared. 50 fucking bucks tho. Don't get the wireless one.

You're right this should have raised a red flag. Several factors impeded this:

1. i didn't read all the threads, just searched for mouse, peripheral, mice, posted a bit, and made a thread. Then went back to work while the (You)s flowed in.

2. If I did notice any in my peripheral vision it was fine because board culture and Sup Forums is full of pseudointellectual casuals anyway.

Actually I guess it turned out okay? I've gotten some pretty good advice so far, and to be fair people who play games are probably the most knowledgeable people in the world about computer mice (maybe excluding dwarf fortress enthusiasts and the like)

This

I bet if you took the sensor out of a gaming mouse and put it in there it'd be good.

>wireless
>gaming

op dont play games though. for the price, its the best mouse for ergonomics desu. the only thing i hate about it using one is its RF and not blutooth, and i live right next to a radio tower, so it can get finicky.

Using this right now. It's definitely comfy but requires daily cleaning if you use it a lot. Also the plastic bearings are bullshit.
