I like Gold Rush, it's like somebody tried to remake outsider without it being shit. It's safer for protoss though it still feels pretty zerg favoured.
Crossing fields I didn't get to see enough long games on yesterday to make an opinion. The back natural base is interesting though. I liked what the protoss was doing with the drops there.

Build a shit ton of mutalisks/scourge/guardians. scourge all their valks and wraiths, and guardian/muta their tanks, ignore building more ground units than you need
i dont see why foreign tournaments shouldn't be open
take over your island early, get 3/3 air and steamroll your way through with air. it's impossible with ground units

Not a whole lot, but it stops a lot of your marines from getting sniped off since mutas can't get in close
Its range and splash removes incentive to have mutas orbiting a group looking for pickoffs
