The thing is I've taken it apart and clean it all several times but my mouse button 5 button still doesn't work.

I take it you are one of the contrarians who believes that the Intellimouse is the mouse of all time and nothing else compares or that there is no discernible difference between a five 5 dollar mouse from a discount store compared to the higher end logitechs and zowies.

But you are lucky your Mad Catz mouse grew to be old, Mad Catz shit tends to break down in the matter of months.
Since the G400s get this one or the G402 if you need to save some money.

It's metal. Personally, I hate it. Seems all gaymen mouses are that way though, been looking for one with a plastic wheel for a while.

With enough care, a lot more. My mx518 has been running for 12 years now. That's what I expect from the spiritual successor of the mx518 too.

My G400s in 3 years without cleaning got so dirty that the wheel started getting stuck.
Thought it was fucked up until I cleaned it, shitloads of dust and shit in there, thought it was broken.
