Flawless games don't exist
I've never played a persona game, can someone explain why they enjoy them?
I know very little about the series, but from the outside it seems like a run-of-the-mill shit weeb story of "play a highschooler who has magical powers! pretend you have a cute gf!" game. Why is it not that? Is the gameplay actually interesting? No troll post, genuinely curious.
Yes. Has some real style but in the end the VN shit is just annoying. Just play mainline SMT.
>YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
>YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
>YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
YOU NEVER SEE IT COMIIIIIIINGGGG
>flawless

What do these acronyms mean?
I mean, it was fun and all but everything between the Shido fight and going home kind of sucked
P5 does have some flaws and some design choices I don't agree with, however it's still a great game
Persona is good because of how much you can do in each game, especially 5
Having so many options of things to do over the course of a year in Tokyo is pretty cool
Even if you're not a fan of long cutscenes you won't mind in P5 because the characters are really likable and its very enjoyable watch each persona you bond with grow the more time you spend with them
Instead of being either a high school simulator or a dungeon crawler, it manages to be both to always keep the player interested in what's happening
also good music
it means you just playing an endless cutscene
Visual Novel
Shin Megami Tensei
kiddo
VN: Visual Novel
SMT: Shin Megami Tensei, Persona is a spinoff of Shin Megami Tensei
This your first time on the internet?
The combat balance is terrible because they couldn't balance around Confidant bonuses since they have to assume everyone has every Confidant at rank 1 but once you start leveling some of the better ones up like Strength, Temperance, Death and Sun the game's difficulty turns into a joke. I played on Hard and the only 'difficult' section was Kamoshida's palace.
Anyways pic related are the only flawless games.
No I just avoid weeb games in general and haven't seen that acronym for visual novel
>It's not a game
>I'm not a robot
>AI challenging you
>Bloodborne
top kek
great post, really producing some quality on this board
I agree OP, flawless games don't exist.
Bloodborne is really uneven in quality compared to those other two.
I like it of course, but it's not in the same league
>Bloodborne
>flawless
Not with those lousy hitboxes it isn't
Or enemies with guns suddenly going braindead when you get close to them
I should probably update that picture with the Old Hunters because if we're just talking the base game then I do agree that the game does have a dip in quality after Shadow of Yharnam and in general the bosses were mostly lackluster and the weapon variety was low but Old Hunters remedied all of those problems for me which bumps the game as a whole up to a 10/10 for me.
If the whole game was the same quality as Old Hunters, it actually could be 10/10, but the fact is it isn't
>jap games
