WE WUZ VAULT DWELLERS

I really hate how Power Armor works in the original Fallout. It's a direct upgrade with no flaws and it makes having more than 6 strength completely pointless.

>all those DUDE POP CULTURE REFERENCES LMAO that were way in overabundance throughout the game
What were they thinking?

More than 6 STR was pointless for anything other than carrying capacity anyways.

New Vegas was the true sequel to Fallout 2 and Bethesda Fallouts are devoid of all the things that make the franchise interesting.

>More than 6 STR was pointless for anything other than carrying capacity anyways.
>What is melee/unarmed builds

>put on power armor
>it slows you down

Do you know how little you actually get from high STR?

Sections of the game were worked on in isolation from each other, with the designers and writers not having time to communicate much. When the final thing was put together there wasn't time to prune and cull some of that stuff down to a point where it was balanced.

"We're nerds and this stuff is funny to us in the 90's"

3>nv>1>2>4

3 was shit without some serious modding.

This is what professional game journalists actually believe.

1=2>NV=T>3>4

>that were way in overabundance throughout the game
No they really weren't. Why do NV fags who haven't touched the game in their lives parrot this fucking meme. There's like one or two culture references for each settlement in the game.

Yea but that adds up and it stands out after playing fallout 1

>NV fags

I think you know who's behind it.

What do you mean?
You get the Slayer perk with 8 STR mate. Of course at the same time, you can always use drugs. I guess my main problem is how you can get perks that have clear SPECIAL and skill requirements, yet for some dumbass reason you can completely bypass those limits with drugs and power armor. Is there a mod that fixes that?

Was he right?

>Enclave
No.

t. lost his power armor

YOU MO-RON

>Ye olde Stat dependent Perks
I never played and will never play FO4 but they got something right that the other games did not; They got Perks that need 10 in a Stat. Period. Most of the time having 10 in any stat (Save INT for dialogue) is a waste of points.

Of course the 10 Stat perks are actually shit in FO4 but that's normal for Beth...

My complaint isn't really about that, and more about how ridiculously easy it is to bypass the requirements, but I agree.
