Lu Meng was known for conquering Jing by simply illustrating the contrast of his benevolence to Guan Yu's general assholeness.

Yukimura Sanada is hailed as the greatest Samurai of Sengoku and famed for his part in the defensive sieges of Osaka.

The only commonality between the two is how awesome they are.

Sup Forums can have pretty decent Dynasty Warriors threads but Samurai Warriors tends to fall by the wayside because it's just not as popular

Does SoS have any kind of Conquest/Mercenary/Infinite Tower side mode thing, or is it just the Sanada story+free mode?

There are secondary stages that are basically famous battles outside of the Sanada Clan. Like Sekigahara and Komaki-Nagakute

It follows Masayuki and Yukimura for the most part, but there's a few missions with Chacha, and some side missions about famous battles.

I haven't played SW games since the PS2 era.

I miss stomping shit around with Honda.

I like how all these musou games have a dedicated Lu Bu character.
