Nidoking is actually one of the better pokemon in gen 1, but there's nothing wrong if you wanna go full Ash team with Pikachu, all starters and I dunno, Pidgeot and Snorlax.

I dont use my old boy because theres no turbo button on it. Ill trade a small ad for a turbo button anyday. Otherwise leveling up the pokemons and traveling would take long as shit

The first time I played gen 1 for pokemon was last year when it came out on the 3ds. I played yellow version which I kinda wish I didn't. My team was mainly the starters +Pikachu. I wanted to have more diverse gen 1 pokemon.

So I think I'm gonna download either Red or Blue. Which one should I get if I plan on having Squirtle?

No, Yellow has some pokemon unavailable that you can only get in red or blue.

I've found that I can beat any of the first 4 generations simply by levelling my start to level 10 in the first patch of grass and using it to one shot everything for the rest of the game. Anything I can do to make the game fun again?
