I really enjoyed the Clock Tower games and recently finally got around to getting the third game. No one fucking told me this was a magical girl game. What the fuck guys? Just cheesy horror and all of a sudden I'm in a one-on-one showdown with my retarded stalker and I go full on magical girl bow summoning.
What are some other games that go in really fucking weird directions?
It's about the first thing people talk about with Clock Tower 3. The dumb-as-all-shit story/atmosphere, and the terrible, terrible controls for the boss fights. The game is shoujo as fuck... or sentai, w/e, the bad-guys all do these fucking stupid power-rangers poses before they fight you.

It's fucking baffling and I don't understand how I had never heard about it. Like where did this shit even come from? Who made this decision during development?

I like this game. Sad everyone hated it.
Ryan Morales
Man I don't even think I hate it. I just don't know how to feel about it.

I've never heard of this and I played CT 1/2 and haunting Ground.

I actually kind of liked it. I liked the original Clock Tower too and I liked Haunting Grounds so I'm not averse to that style of horror game where you're (mostly) helpless. I'm not sure why, I just did. Perhaps because it was so laughably cheesy. Music was pretty nice in some parts too. Except that fucking droning in the graveyard.

I liked CT3 even if I was weirded out by the sheer "energy" of the cutscenes, like characters flailed around way too much for it to feel serious to me. Like most sane people though I think Haunting Ground is very much this game but much better. No magical girls though, which is perhaps the one way it's "worse".
