Blackwake for sure.
>sea lapping at my pirate ship's sides as I cruise across the ocean on a sunny day

Stronghold 1
By far
Gonna get a lot of flak but Gone Home and Firewatch.
Sailing around while your crew sings sea shanties is very /comfy/
There I was, face to face with myself in the cool, green grass. The sun was starting to set and my wang danger started to stir as the cool evenings air rushed across my glands.
>sitting in an abandoned house, preparing to make a break for the safe zone while it's raining outside
PUBG is comfy
Suikoden 2
>coming back to your castle after a long adventure
>going fishing in the docks
>having cook-offs with chefs from other castles
>picking your party before you head back out for more adventure with your top 5 bros
That's not comfy, it's cold and lonely.
Just post more gondola
Witcher 3 is pretty damn comfy. I've always loved plains and grassy outdoor settings.

Good post
Vanilla WoW alliance early non-nelf leveling zones.
Anno 1404
and Morrowind when i get the yearly nostalgia rush... but i usually get bored within 10-15 hours since i've already experienced everything the game has to offer.
>Get bored of Skyrim
>hate own life
>decide to RP in Skyrim
>Just want to be a random nobody
>grab a firewood axe
>get rid of all weapons and money
>spend hours chopping wood during the days and spend the income on food and lodging at the inns
>big purchases were new clothes
It was okay for a little while but that game pokes and prods you about being the chosen one and NPC's awful regurgitated dialogue is constantly in your ear. Plus having to fight wolves and spiders every time you go for a walk in the woods is tedious and unrealistic for what I was going for.
bump
Nightsky is the comfiest, there is no competition

Minecraft alpha
STALKER
Outer Wilds
Silent Hill
Bayonetta
DMC3
Big parts of Undertale are super comfy to me
The Forest. Building a wall, building effigies out of the body parts of my fallen enemies. Just really cozy.
well at least that’s so bad I can respect it. I’ll add some more heresy to the fire:
Borderlands 2 once you get past all the fucking memes and into the autistic grind
Oblivion. The soundtrack in that game is made for maximum comfy.
STALKER, Okami and The Talos Principle.
...
i've got this list of comfy games or games you can get lost in and relax at certain points. dunno how accurate it is really.
Skyrim, Fallout NV and Morrowind are good for general open-world wandering and clearing dungeons.
X-COM for turn-based combat. Too bad X-COM 2 has so many timers, only thing I dislike about it.
Civilization and EUIV for strategy itch.
Older JRPGs for nostalgia.
Pokemon Emerald
Spyro 1
klonoa collection when? I want to replay my childhood memories
man, what kinda game would gondola have? like, exploration related obviously, but i feel he deserves more than just a walking simulator.
maybe like, a chilled out version of wario ware? like it focuses less on break neck pace and quick mini games but puzzles and stuff.

Pokemon crystal. Might just be nostalgia though. Still think the music and spritework is comfy as fuck though.
Earthbound Zero
>Vanilla WoW alliance early non-nelf leveling zones.
This
And stardew valley
...
nah, pokemon games are pretty comfy imo
I think it would be like myst. Just walking, observing the views, and doing puzzles.

The Witness
I went into knowing very little and was a little on edge because I was expecting a jump scare or something but the island is so comfy
Probably skyrim just camping outside with a follower.
Also Anno 1404, Forza Horizon 3 cruising with a convoy.
This and Elite Dangerous.
I always imagined it feels like when you drive your car when it's a cold night out and you have the comfy heater on.
Being in a competitive clan dedicated to a specific custom map in warcraft 3 battle.net
When I was in highschool, Fable on my Xbox heuge
>winter outside
>in my parent's basement
>soft lighting
>playing on a CRT
>only comfy as fuck 30 yer old sofa
>tucked in with a giant quilt
Recently, Va-11 Hall-A
>raining outside
>cold because almost winter
>in bed tucked in
>laptop on lab
>playing with a wireless that works on all surfaces under the quilt on the bed sheets
you should've known from the start that RP wouldn't work, based purely on how shitty skyrim is
Yeah but not sure where else I would turn for that. Minecraft? Game looks like ass and even if you spawn on a billion villagers it still feels like a very lonely experience
The only game you could really do that in is an MMO I think
don't know why but it's the first game that come to my mind when "comfy" is mentioned
desu i found the nier games to pretty comfy
VtM Bloodlines.
Dark Souls III co-op with my buddy.
Playing the game from start to finish with non stop bants is comfy as heck
Knowing Taro, the next Nier sequel will be based on the joke ending in Automata where 2B gives up trying to save the world and spends the rest of her days fishing and taking in the view.
Seems like it would be pretty comfy.
>Kirov reporting
fable the lost chapters or any rune factory games honestly
I wonder if the Myst games are worth playing now. I never did.
Probably Dorf Fort, Factorio, X3 and Freelancer.
U wot m8? That's the Settlers
Dungeon Keeper 2
1 and 5 have suffered the passage of time.
The others are still playable.
Patapon 2 is my go-to comfy game
Point and click adventures are pretty comfy
>Suikoden 2
Isn't the game itself shit scary though, like if you make a comfy walled in log cabin, the cunts will still get in?
