Do you think it'll surpass the Holy Trinity in terms of gameplay? What about with the music?

I'm pretty hopeful for AC7. The technology is definitely there, it's just a matter of seeing if the devs can pull it off right.

Nope.

Music in the trailers sounds great.

Well Kobayashi's coming back so you can count on the music being good

As far as gameplay it's hard to tell this early, but the demos they've shown look promising

They can enhance the flight physics and mission scripting.
They can't really do much about the gameplay in itself since what's been established in AC4, besides killing it by adding shit gimmicks like in assault horizon.

The best physics was actually in AC3, but it wasn't the most fun gameplay.

Is it really that good? I didn't notice since I was too busy fighting the awful controls

I have never played the series before but the game looks great. Can I play this with a controller on PC?

I've been playing 6 this week and even though I really liked it over all, that liberation of Gracemaria mission was the first time a game in the series has properly frustrated me.

One of the aerial objectives is a bunch of planes flying about above max altitude so you can't get level with them as your plane shits the bed and stalls and then most of your missiles end up missing because of the retarded angle you have to fire them from. Then it throws hundreds of those bullshit UAVs at you along with that cunt Pasternak with his retardedly maneuverable plane that loses the targeting lock everytime he passes you so that half of the fight is just trying to fucking find him.

The "awful controls" are because of the best physics. It took a few missions to get used to but I never experienced the amagaditstallsallthetime-syndrome everyone is talking about.

Yes, once it's out

In the meantime you should emulate the PS2 games - 4, 5, and 0

>do you think it'll surpass the Holy Trinity in terms of gameplay
AC 6 already did that.

The Gamescom Demo felt really good.
It has the AC6 onwards thing of holding brake and accelerate at the same time to do a quick turn which I actually like.
No rocket chase cam tho which is kinda disappointing especially because of how amazing the game looks but as long as third person lock-on (holding triangle) remains I'm happy.

Fucking Clouds are incredibly irritating if you just jump in tho.
It's so easy to chase enemies through a cloud, don't pay attention to your gauges for a moment, emerge from the cloud and immediately smack into the ground.

Why are these games so fucking short fuck. I hope AC 7 will be longer.

6 was far longer than the PS2 ones mostly because every mission had the scale of 3 or 4 missions in the previous games.

That wasn't a problem for me either, but I felt like the directional controls were built for the D-pad rather than analog. Trying to pitch and roll at the same time is finicky at best which is really annoying in the slower planes

...

Long live belka.

>that fortress mission
>choose one of the objectives and go after the targets
>be confused as to why I can't hit them
>mfw I realise that they are under ground and that the markers are tunnel entrances

I hope the planes will be cute

I too hope the MiG-29 will be included.
