Been hours on her because her 15 last health bars is a pain in the ass.
Playing on hard so she heals like 3-4 bars if I get hit by her instakill debuf and survives with help of that survive with 1 hp amulet.
But at least I can get trough the rest of the fight well enough with most dmg being from just messing upso today ahes going down.

Irisu isn't even the hardest boss anymore.

Yeah, she's tough but also an extremely fun bossfight, especially on hard.

Real talk though, I think Rabi-Ribi is the best game of the decade so far (2011-2020). I'm not even a weeb, this game just drew me in like nothing else, it's near perfection for me.

Do you guys think we'll see another game from them? Originally I thought this might've been it considering they were just a random hodge-podge indie team, but the fact that they've staid together for so long in putting out all the DLC and these ports makes me think they might do another project sooner or later.

Well I'm not convinced they're done with Rabi-Ribi yet since 1.85 is a very arbitrary version number to end on.

Worst feeling is when I do really well and then mess up on easy parts.

There's no a rule in making game versions. If it's finished then it's finished, we got 1.8 just to have parity with console versions, and looks like there will be few more patches for modding stuff (and hopefully a multiplayer mode that's still in beta)

Hollow Knight is actually extremely mediocre. It's brain-dead simple and the thing that most people like about it (it's Dark Soul's like """"openness"""") is actually just a symptom of bad metroidvania design (extremely slow pace of upgrades paired with a map that allows you to explore a majority of it with minimal upgrades).

It does nothing new for the genre and it's actually regressive in many ways.

The best thing about CCG reviews is they clearly separate gameplay from "moral" issues, so they can make a reasonable game review and not just knock down points for things they didn't like or found questionable since they have a separate metric for wholesomeness.

Two extra chapters. Read spoiler if you want a summary.

First part is Ribbon's friends trying to learn stronger magic from Saya at Rabi Ravine. Saya's magic goes out of control and Ribbon's friends are under some influence. After knocking them back to their senses, you have to escape Rabi Ravine before the floating island you fought Ribbon's friends crashes on the place.Though it's retarded you can still explore the place after.

Second part is Ribbon feeling another Erina presence, and so back to the Hall of Memory you go. You meet Illusion Erina, or past Erina's memories, and she wants a battle just because. After that, she tells you what happened to all the rabbits on the island they started turning into monsters. She then disappears and the credits roll. During credits, miracle happens, see , she doesn't. Erina keeps her in a charm when leaving Hall of Memories and Illusion Erina gets to explore the island with Erina.


The items you get are a crux if you're doing special bosses.

It's a good metroidvania with greater focus on bosses. Said bosses use many bullet hell mechanics. The anime style and story will put many people off though.
