Why are all the zombies in the back so fucking shredded?
Gunnar a best
>Really enjoy the game
>Playing through the campaigns
>Have no trouble with the first 3 or whatever amount it was to unlock the next campaign
>That campaign completely destroys me
I go north, free the strong hero in the jail, but then I can't keep up with the massive amount of troops coming at me from either end. One day.
>tfw getting my ass kicked in all the campaigns
Am I you?
Protein rich diet.
Is homm 3 a good place to get into the series?
What version should I buy?
2 and 3 are the only games worth playing.
>buy
Homm3 isn't my subjective best game of all time, but I think it's objectively the best
Sandro's campaign isn't that bad once you get going, but fuck me the 1st map is retarded.
Why the fuck would you ever get capped at lvl5 on an XL+U map?
I'm talking about the campaign that begins with capturing Steadwick. Just started it up again and got pretty lucky with starting heroes (Afaik being shit), so hopefully I can win this time.
The necromancer has standards
>art has every unit except bone/ghost dragons
>even the promo thinks they're worthless
I like them
This Then add the HoMM3 HD slav patch
Ignore the official "HD edition", it breaks more than it fixes
>Think I'm doing decent
>Have Just about everywhere except Steadwick scouted on the overworld
>Suddenly 3 heroes with throngs of troops each start marching on me
How am I supposed to deal with this? I'm not complaining, I'm completely aware my inability to deal with this sort of thing is due to my inexperience, but I have virtually no idea how to fight armies much larger than me with decked out heroes that cast haste first turn and wipe half my army before I get to do anything, times three.
Well there are a ton of tips to give, but I'm not sure how much you already know and I don't know how much is actually applicable to the campaigns, because those can have hero caps, level caps, unique income and all other sorts of stuff like unwinable battles that you have to avoid.
As long as you're using multiples of heroes properly, don't move with your entire army, don't waste resources on pointless buildings and units, get Expert Earth/Expert Air, and abuse walled ranged units, you should be fine really.
It comes down to efficiency, because if you can take lossless battles, that's gonna make future battles easier and it's gonna snowball eventually.
How are the regular Might and Magic games?
