Trophy for knocking an enemy into a pit
>2 achievements for killing large enemies
>one is called "The bigger they are...", and the other is "The harder they fall"
Why did you make this thread?
sorry this is bumping off your eceleb/offtopic shit faggot
Not
This. Go fuck yourself, faggot.
I just played through Postal and Postal 2 and its achievement names are some of the worst I’ve ever seen.
NOT
> game has memes in it
How bad on a scale of 1 to every late night ORANGE DRUMPFUMPO! comic joke is it?
This is Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army
>mfw Chuck Testa achievement
I end up finding fuck ups like that more funny than relevant things.
Who the hell even remembers that shit?
What is the best meme game?
I actually like these threads because it ends up harboring genuine discussion about vidya and sometimes it's just anons gushing about how X game was so good, and I like seeing people talk about things they enjoyed.
It's nice.
Based happy poster
>Die 1000 times
>Get an achievement
>The game is making fun of you for being bad at it
>achievement tied to a DLC item
>achievement autists send death threats to developers
I've been consistently underwhelmed by the achievements in games that I have played lately. They have all been uninspired, transparent attempts to prolong the game experience and provide a greater sense of 'value' for the player.
>tfw still remember Chuck Testa
>Achievement: Finish the tutorial
>10% of players have this
>Pass the tutorial
>Achievement unlocked!
>Kill an enemy
>Achievement unlocked!
>Kill another type of enemy
>Achievement unlocked!
>Kill 10 of the first type of enemy
>Achievement unlocked!
>achievement for standing still for five minutes
>called you've wasted your life
>not skipping the tutorial
are you some sort of casual?
Companies that use the achievements for game analytics are the worst
I'm not sure they exist.
>game has wilhelm scream
This too. Achievements can be genuinely rewarding when done correctly, but when they require zero effort to attain or are simply a matter of time spent rather than skill or creativity they are pointless.
>an achievement given for beating the game on each difficulty
>easier ones don't rollover if you beat the game on harder difficulties
BTFO!
I hated it when 3.0 hit in WoW and introduced achievements
It made me feel like the past 4 years of my accomplishments meant nothing.
they actually did mean nothing
Disgusting
