Destiny

Bloodborne
SOMA

Both Niers

The short story is very different from the game, though.

She doesn't exist.

Sunless sea

Secred world

That's baby tier retard writing pal

Eternal Darkness

that pic is either trying so hard to be poetic or edgy, but its just cringey as fuck

Deadly Premonition

That probably applies to every point and click adventure/mystery/horror game, wouldn't you say?

Planescape Torment

Hellblade

The story is great but goddam the gameplay is horrible

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines
But mainly because of the last part.

Too many, user

So much this. My most memorable moments was checking out the sense stones or hanging out in the bar and learning of the planes

earned some respect for D&D lore, which I previously thought was just poor man's Tolkien

why was am so fucking mad? what the fuck was that idiots problem? how can you actually be so butthurt?
I would really like to know...

>The voice of the edge
Yup. Checks out.

Pathologic

Lost Odyssey can easily turn out this way depending on your tolerance for old school JRPGs

The Secret World.

>People actually shitting on IHNMAIMS writing
Fucking hell

>terrible things happen in what is more or less hell

whoa man

That is because the author actually worked on the game, and did the voice of AM in the game. Mind you the game is vastly different from the story, and it allows you to retcon the ending for one happier if you beat it properly with the good ending (except in gemany because nimdok's route isn't playable on the original german version locking players out of the good ending).

Morrowind

But how will I enjoy the story when there's no strong female character that should lead the fight against AM conquering him and freeing the world of rape and misogyny

>actually reading goodreads reviews

>Implying I don't do it to see people getting butthurt over the most trivial things
You should see the lovecraft reviews
