I'm still far from finishing BotW and don't want spoilers

How screwed am I tonight if I tune into Nintendo's Direct? I already know if Zelda comes up I won't be able to resist watching it.

The story is nothing too exciting, so you won't be missing much

Not many twists and turns, just development of zelda

link defeats ganon

they tell you the entire story on the first 5 minutes of gameplay, as for the ""puzzling"" there's nothing special to spoil

You were the Ganon all along

I should add Sup Forums and idiots abusing the preview pics on Youtube have already spoiled every major plot point I can think of like Master Sword breaking. Ganondorf's head. Something about a horse at the end.. I just don't want spoiled what I may not know. You feel what I'm saying?

Also, exiting this thread now, so that no more trolls try to spoil me. Do your worst, I've already won.

I've decided I'll just man up and not watch the Direct at all and stay off Sup Forums completely for a month.

There's not much to spoil, its the same basic story they fed us for generations.

Spoilers would be telling you where & what to find in the overworld. Exporation is the meat of this game and ruining the sense of discovery counts as "spoilers" in my opinion

I feel you. I got spoiled a lot from fucking youtube even though I didn't watch a single Zelda related video prior to its release. I already know about outfits and items.

For your peace of mind, there's no twist or big plot point that comes up once you get off the plateau. Just solid gameplay.

I mean after you figure out that the old man in the intro is actually gannon who was sealed away to the ancient plateau and he created a copy of link within that chamber to trick him to go and unseal him from hyrule castle, there isn't much left to find out.

BotW has no fucking story, retard.

>Master Sword breaking. Ganondorf's head. Something about a horse at the end

None of that happens.
You've either been trolled or are trolling.

none of that happens. very little happens in botw's story. it's pretty much all flashbacks, you get the master sword, and then you fight the dude. that's the story.

There isn't really anything to spoil, BotW has about as much story as the original Zelda and that's not some kind of exaggeration.
Like the "worst" that could happen is that you see a location or enemy type before you get there and find it yourself, there's really nothing anyone can do to ruin the game for you.

Also bullshit. You're not clever chaps.

I wish something like that existed in BotW. The """story""" was such a massive disappointment after how interesting Skyward Sword's was.
Love the world, love the gameplay, but the story and characters took a massive dump down the shitter

>spoilers

Link kills ganon you dumb cunt.

Zelda games have always had a simple ass story. Go collect X of Y, so you can kill Ganon

How far in are you? No doubt they'll show the DLC story, but we don't even know where it's set. It's most likely set at least partially in the past before the Calamity, if you've seen some of the cutscenes about the Champions, you should be fine. If it's set in the present after the end of the story, there's nothing much that can ruin your experience since the end is really straightforward. I say don't worry.

WW, TP, and SS all had great stories. They might not have been terribly unique, but they had their twists and turns and sucked you in anyways. BOTW went back to the roots, for better or worse, so it doesn't really have anything like a plot

The ending was terrible anyway. The whole final act felt completely separate from the rest of the game, and all your choices up to that point were ultimately meaningless due to the bullshit binary good ending/bad ending they made you choose from, guilting you out completely if you made the "wrong" choice.

botw is easily the least story-heavy zelda ever, and even that's an understatement

Link marries Paya.

If only.

There are no twists, the story is as generic as it gets.

Most previous 3D Zeldas had at least one or two massive tweests that people would prefer not to be spoiled on.

the game is actually a Sheikah simulation that's why your weapons break into bluish pixels once they're broken. Link is actually still sleeping and this simulation was made so that he can truly prepare for the real deal. Hyrule is actually a lot more fucked than it looks like in game(simulation).

what spoilers?

are nintenbros this fucking dumb? every zelda game is the same shit.

how is nintenbro censored but fags are still saying sonybro & cuck which are both 3x as dumb?

this board is awful.

>mfw
Please tell me this isn't a thing.

I'm out

not him, but I tried hyrule
It was soulcrushing to say the least

I mean, you can probably guess how the story goes. The story is only there to set the world in place and give reason to your actions. It's as bare bones as it get's.

?

none of it matters because it's still a simulation. I mean just try to explain how can there be both Zora and Rito at the same time? they were evolved from the Zoras

Joking aside what's the chance of having a story-driven Zelda again? I mean sure the Skyrim formula worked but this is waay to thin on the lore

The ending where you save Zelda felt really tacked on. If the whole message was that the storm/calamaty was the universe correcting itself, surely saving Zelda only prolonged the inevitable?

How do you get the true ending?

get the master sword before your play time hits 5 hours

explain how to complete 60 shrines in 5 hours.

git gud

Visit all the memory locations.

rush it

The All Shrines speedrun is at 8 hours, you can do this shit

>"Link, do you feel that Breath of the Wild?"
dropped the game there

Where did this happen?

my ass. the games actually amazing and I'm enjoying it quite a bit, just started playing the other day on cemu
