Pause the game and stare at Caius Cosades accusingly.

So if someone here is inspired to play Morrowind for the first time and see this message:

Sleepers Awake is a very lightweight mod that you should install without reading what it does. It's a phenomenal bit of atmosphere.

This. Always the best way to start the game and get yourself some good gear.

I bet Yagrum asks himself the same question every morning.

Anyone play OpenMW morrow mp?

>Long Blade
>68
No shit, you can hit accurately when you've been training your skill for that long.

I played it for a couple weeks from 0.60 to 0.61 with MR and TR mods installed. Got boring once I got powerful shit and started wrecking stuff even at 250 difficulty though. Will wait on 0.70 to play more when he fixes spell/enchant syncing. Was good fun overall though finally playing with a buddy.

You forgot to show the 10 seconds before when you entered the console commands.

Sorry, that webm has been debunked.

I think a lot of people don't realize all the different things that affect your accuracy. Also I don't think a lot of people realize that you have to hold the button down to do the most damage with your attacks.

Whip out my spear and fucking BTFO the assassin with my 40~ points in spear and agility, then leave his OP as fuck armor where it is and go about my day.

How did people ever defend this shit?

the rng has a mind of its own

I made a new character just to show you that you can get your Long Blade skill up to 50 in the fucking character creation. You can level it up to 60-something easily.

at level 1? in seyda neen?

>redguard specced in Long Blade
Yeah. They get a +15 bonus to Long Blade.

It's a major skill so they level up much faster, yes. Not just in Seyda Neen, though.

I mean levelling up to 60-something.
You can get it up to 50 just from choosing your stats.

I don't know, same way Xcom shits defend Xcom's stupid hit rates.

That's just morrowind baby. At least in morrowind it can be made a non issue eventually.

>not building yourself up and doing bitch work to level your shit so it feels like an actual achievement when you finally level up

Why can't you faggots realize your supposed to be a vulnerable nobody at the start, as a person who's spent countless hours on this game and watched others play I can tell you right now, you can become a everything slaying all around badass once you've proven yourself and leveled yourself up accordingly. If you think there's something wrong with starting out at the bottom of the food chain in the very beginning of the game you should just drop Morrowind and any real RPGs all together and play Skyrim. you should also drop morrowind if you're a brainlet that doesn't like reading

>Why can't you faggots realize your supposed to be a vulnerable nobody at the start

Because of other games for the most part in the last few years making you some bad ass from the get go. They're used to being some kick ass mother fucker from the get go, and then leveling up either being, even more power ontop of being good already, as well as new gear they can use for fashion.

>make a HtH build correctly

DIE FETCHER

>playing through morrowind for the first time, look on Sup Forums for a thread
>top of board didn't need to click the catalog at all
I swear it's not coincidencial at this point, this happened with DA:O too.
Anyway I befriended this khajiit in Pelagiad who told me there's a Daedra worshipper with a enchanted belt upstairs, but said woman tells me to fuck myself if I try speaking to her. Killing her aggros the entire bar on me and slaps me with a 1000 bounty, and sneak doesn't work. How do I confisticate the belt without being made a pariah?

This game is for autistic min maxers
Fucking Sup Forums shilling fuck ass broken games

Kill everyone in the bar, dip out, pay thieves guild to clear the bounty

>Green hands

>people will actually fall for bait this bad

>level 1
>0 fatigue

every time

The game itself tells you to fucking min max and break the game, otherwise you won't win. That's what makes the game so fun and interesting.

Weird, my game looks better. Are you playing it on superlow settings?

Try being completely naked, sometimes it bypasses the automatic "goodbye" responses

Why did they remove the best way of playing?

Just spam taunt regardless of your speechcraft and you'll eventually make her attack

>he gets stuck in the bed
>free fucking gold

This is not true. Once they get around 0-20 disposition, they will only tell you to leave. Anything speechcraft related fails to work 100% of the time.

>WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO LOCKPICK BEFORE I CAN PICK LOCKS EFFECTIVELY??? WHAT THE FUCK, WHY CAN'T I JUST CHEESE A MASTER LEVEL LOCK AT LEVEL ONE LIKE IN SKYRIM

These webms used to turn me away from Morrowind but after picking up the game and actually playing it I now realize the people who post these webms are just brainlets who're mad about the fact that it's not Skyrim or Oblivion.

Oh, this worked. Thanks.
>had to drop all my shit to get to the imperial cult shrine because her greater bonewalker permanently reduced my STR and END
I like this game.

Maybe I have a mod that changes it. But if that's the case then just taut and then when she gets too low bribe her back up to 100 and repeat

what are some of the must have early game spells that you could learn for reasonable price?

I heard recall and mark are good. Also high feather.

Hearth Heal. Makes the game easy as fuck. And Both intervention spells are always useful.

The world needs more people like you. except maybe the furfag part.

>being a khajit ever when BoBS exist

I know, and I get it and love it for that, but I'm just saying why new people don't like it.

I don't want to come off like an asshat trying to sound smart, because it really isn't that hard, but it's just not the game for allot of people these days.

Restore Attribute
Restore Fatigue helps reduce the time you need to rest before a fight
Conjure weapons
Levitate, unless you're okay with keeping some potions on hand

>Hearth Heal
I prefer Veloth's Grace.

In the base game, provided you have the patience, you can make it work. Charming and intimidating are a lost cause yeah, but taunting will eventually piss them off.
Problem is it'll take five years if you have shit speechcraft and lack the latest Morrowind Code Patch, which lets you spam click on persuasion options without the window closing.

>be super agile thief build khajiit
>get BoBS
>run into heavily populated buildings and grab as much expensive looking shit as possible and get the fuck out of dodge before they even know what happened

>Breton, Atronach

>Restore 1-4 Fatigue for 60-120 seconds
Find what's affordable for your mana, having this makes getting around early in the game much more managable. Once you get bobs, you should have enough mana to negate the sprinting cost entirely.

>Four different Open and Lock spells, 25, 50, 75, 100.
Bring probes if you like, but most traps shouldn't pose much of a threat if you're careful.

>Levitate 1 for 60-120
Once you have bobs

>Divine Intervention, Mark and Recall
If you're low on mana, Mark. Use DI, use the shrine. Because of the interaction between atronach and the shring spells cast on you, you now have all of your mana back. Cast Recall. Never rest again, except to level up.

>Fortify x attribute for 1 sec
I.e 100 personality for 1 sec, engaging in NPC conversation will pause the game with maxed disposition.

>Sound 99 for x seconds.
Again, whatever you can make that's affordable. Silence will prevent an NPC from casting. Sound will make them still cast the spell, but fail, wasting their magicka

>Night-Eye x for 60-120 seconds

beasts cant wear bobs

>Sound will make them still cast the spell, but fail, wasting their magicka
Seriously? Damn, I've to check that out.

Not him but, IIRC there was a mod I installed that gave the beast races regular legs thus making me able to wear boots and helmets for some reason, I think it might still be on the nexus. Although I don't use it anymore because there was no texture support for mods that changed the graphics and it's more fun having that kind of restriction.

AYO HOL UP
*stabs woman*

Breton isn't beast

>I swear it's not coincidencial at this point, this happened with DA:O too.
What you are describing is called the "Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon"

Are you retarded?

Unlike the melee and sorcery, that one actually hit its target!

Honestly? I just reload the save before I went to sleep. I don't like the assassins showing up before it makes sense in the story.

Well shit I learned something today. I love morrowind threads.

There's a mod for that.

Battlemage or pure mage for MW?

Just use the delayed dark brotherhood attack mod

Batllemage is too easy. Be a mage with no weapon or limit yourself to some shitty staff

Its actually morrowind fans trying to keep people from playing it

>make h2h build
>punching everyone's stamina to nothing
>wailing on cliff racers and wizards lying heaving on the ground like some gorilla bully

So fucking fun. Glad NV has fatigue too although somewhat less potential

Should I make a pure melee build?
On one hand being a warrior sounds cool but then it feels like I'm missing out by not using at least some of the batshit spells morrowind has. I always end up gravitating back towards at least a spellsword-y character.

FATIGUE MY NIGGA

Wear Heavy armor, swings a battleaxe and summon Daedra.

>play the morrowind multiplayer mod with a few friends
>one plays a theif (level 1)
>sees the daedric longbow in Vivec with a worth of 50000
>he waits until the NPC looks away and then enter sneak and tries to steal it
>gets caught and rages on as the "npc was looking the other way, there's no chance that they could see that"
>guard catches him in a few sec
>friends rage quits and starts to read online threads while stealth sucks in morrowind while complaining for hours in the voice chat

I always thought the *miss* threads was false flagging bait threads with no serious posters until this happened.

TESO is not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Mele + alteration + restoration is what all my characters end up as unless I actively avoid doing so

He was probably too retarded to wait for the yellow symbol to pop up that means people can't see you

This but I sometimes throw in marksman to deal with cliff racers.

Your friend sounds like shitstain.
