real life

Labyrinth Plus Edition
>Sup Forums children don't know what this even is
sad days bro's

nice try shill
that game is a 80's tier vaporware game

>can't fight hordes of demons with my giants anime sword
yeah nah, try again.

GTA IV

>mfw thinking about all the incredible vidya that will exist within my life time as AI advances

wait a few decades for the perfect game made by perfect robots

The Last of Us
>perfect single player
>perfect multiplayer

Robots won't be able to feel, meaning they won't be able to truly capture what makes a game feel great.

Warcraft 3
World of Warcraft vanilla
Half-Life 1
Sid Meier's Pirates

Tetris.
>less shit to go wrong
>less shit that does go wrong
It succeeds at what it does and is still being played decades later. Sounds perfect, if we're speaking in a literal sense and not subjectively.

Tetris is an objective 10/10, indeed.

GTA IV is pretty close, too.

>mfw you are already in an incredible vidya game, created by robots you just don't know it.

...

>the archons
>robots

>this weird dream again, deja vu

>perfect
>random character creation with 0 balance
>no manual
>no savepoints
>permadeath
>EXCESSIVE grind for everything
>shitty endgame
>passable graphics and physics but that's about it
Going to try Gensokyo DLC soon.

Unironically Deus Ex with the GMDX mod

Also real life lighting fucking sucks

Tetris.

Depends - I'd probably say buldurs gate 2 for me atleast or early World of Warcraft

do you guys have much to say on my opinion?

reality

Demon's Souls.

Jak and Daxter 1

Bloodborne

Golden age TF2

Obviously

Not to mention the shadows suck ass, blurry as shit.

Altered Beast

And the artstyle is inconsistent as fuck

oblivion-morrowid

two pair of games that were somewhat repetitive. but the only games where exploration in an open world meant something. it wasn't just "follow this lead to get ahead". exploring actually extended the gameplay significantly.
open world games nowdays directs you to places you need to go, the map/compass is meaningless

Sure as fuck ain't skyrim

This

Quake
Puzzle League
Rocket League
Tetris
Guitar Hero 5
Shovel Knight
Portal
XCOM: EU/EW

These are all games that beyond small aesthetic changes or very slight tweaks, I can not think of a way to improve. They're all incredibly well-thought-out in their core gameplay, all very cohesive feeling, and deliver almost exactly what the developers set out to do.

Dark Souls 1 was the first thing to come to mind, but in a sum-of-its-parts kind of way. I'm aware of the glaring flaws.

>procedurally generated

I loved this shit until learned that there's no included NG+

Bannerlord. I hope.

>implying AI will advance
The only development we're going to see is MOAR GRAFIX and ever more intrusive microtransactions

You have to join a covenant.

Through neural networks, they could easily generate games, measure human response to them, isolate certain traits that correlate with a positive reception over time, and continue making iterations that get closer and closer to EXACTLY what humans want to play

an almost perfect game

fpbp

Tetris and Xenoblade Chronicles

Nothing but fighting games honestly.
Only games in existence with good melee combat for starters, Soulsborne, DMC, Bayonetta, Chivalry, M&B, Dark Messiah, Revengence, For Honor, Ninja Gaiden, etc, all fucking trash compared to fighting games in terms of the balance of skill, variety, animations, feedback, tactics, etc.

>Skyrim
>perfect

Garbage story, mediocre combat and animations, copy/paste dungeon design, small monster/animal and landscape diversity. Near perfect my ass.

Real life is like the perfect tech demo. Calling it a game however i cannot.

Have you guys tried the LSD mod yet? Finally makes it worth playing for a bit

Too much grinding. Horrible combat.

Persona 5 is in my opinion near perfect game, besides game over after main character dies I don't have a single issue with the game and even that is just small nitpick.

I hear that corrupts your game.

Holy fucking kek/10

...

How is the story? I loathe hard weeb shit, but I am fine with soft weeb shit (ie Final Fantasy) can I still enjoy it?

Dragons dogma

A glitch here or there. Unfortunately i dont think itll ever be patched

It gets pretty close but its not perfect

not pic related for sure

So mobile shit and glorified gambling machines now with your favorite game skin?

>Shit combat.
Nope.

it's good
but it's extremely far from perfect

...

Nier:Automata

...

I'd also add Fire Emblem, L4D2, Tyrian, Arkham Asylum, Thief, Castlevania AoS, Super Mario 64, Punch-Out, Mario Kart Wii, and Picross 3D to this list

This is more weeb shit than Final Fantasy but story is still good and enjoyable and it is way better than any recent FF. The story is very long though like 100+ hours long and there is a lot of reading so be prepared for that.

Depends what you like but I feel GTA San Andreas all-round has got to be up there.

I adore this game and have racked up an absurd playtime but it is not perfect. Not even close.

Ultima Underworld

RE4.
QTE was not pleasant though.

a game like warband can be improved almost indefinitely desu

I got a fucking bug where every time I try to interact with an NPC they just ignore me, anyone know the fix?

>Can attack while moving (kek), for the floaty slip-and-slide deluxe... And makes spacing utter garbage.
>Slow.
>Lack of moves.
>Zero variety.
>Feints absurdly broken.
>Ugly animations, looks like shit.
>No hitstop.
>Models clip through eachother constantly.

Tetris.
Virtual chess.

oh its this fag again
next youre going to say it should have stamina

>>Can attack while moving (kek)
??????????

spoken like a true shitter

Good Man. I play it at least once every 2 years. I have noticed though when I am playing that I say the phrase "oh, THIS fucking part....damnit"

youtu.be/tOSKl8pdBgs
>That spastic feint freakout 50 seconds in.
This.
High level M&B is fucking hilarious, but people think it's good inexplicably. They stare at eachother toes and feint like multiple times per-second swerving their swings around. It's absolutely retarded. Shit is on par with Dark Souls.

Star War: Jedi Power Battles

...

>shit that you never see in actual gameplay outside of high level duel tournaments

Get gud

>Wanting a garbage stamina system like dark souls crap.
kek.
Attacking while moving makes the game feel like floaty dogshit and makes the spacing shit. The same reason people complain about it in TES, Chiv, etc.
>No arguments.
>You have to be good at broken garbage minigames and sideshows to judge them.
Sounds like dark souls pvp fags.

wats your point? The game breaks down the more you play it and just feels and looks like garbage lol..

warband cant really, engine is too old but bannerlord if it is ever released is apparently taking so long because they want every aspect of the game to be as moddable as possible.

>Attacking while moving makes the game feel like floaty dogshit and makes the spacing shit. The same reason people complain about it in TES, Chiv, etc.
lol wut
reach and footwork is more important than blocking in m&b

Breath of the Wild

>Reach and footwork is important.
Here you go, the pros at work.

and dont give me this bullshit because i know you havent even gotten close to that point

what's some games with good melee combat then?

this shit is incredibly fun after a couple of years

Fighting games.

how the fuck is anyone even supposed to glean a question from this mess?

This is absolutely fucking retarded. Who honestly thinks this shit is good?

>no NG+ without maximum covenant devotion

>have to mod the game to make it enjoyable

What is this fucking Skyrim

Multiplayer is fucking trash lmfao

>stamina takes whole minutes to recharge
>hp is RNG: the mechanic
>both drain constantly unless you buy items and rest every day
>items aren't farmable if you fail the first questline

Resident evil 4

Tropico 4

Aria of Sorrow seems pretty damn perfect to me
