That was obviously not a blanket statement about every single game now, it was a comment on how the popular thing these days is to provide a cinematic experience or make some hamfisted political statement.
I've been going through my PS3 backlog, and I honestly feel like Uncharted was the worst thing that ever happened to video games. It is the opposite of fun, it is a mediocre Hollywood action movie with boring third person shooter and shitty platforming segments thrown in between.
