No, it's a standard turn based affair with a story board that looks like a SaGa game (different campaigns happening simultaneously in one world)

The demo is promising, but the character's had better meet up, at least in pairs relatively quickly.
Only having access to one special contextual command per campaign is gonna make the right answer to quests incredibly obvious, you just do the one thing that your main character can do.

do you think this will be a full $60 title? I'm inclined to think so because it's on a nintendo console but I wouldn't want to pay more than $40 for it.

Still want to get into SaGa, and this sounds like it's trying to do some of the things that made me interested in SaGa to begin with. Guess I'll keep my eye on it.

You're actually sort of half right. FPS games have to complete lowest common denominator shit while JRPGs are still occasionally made for the audience that actually likes them.

Maybe to you. I still enjoy going back to NES games from time to time. Graphics are one of the least important things to me, art direction is way more important to me.

And the game looks fine. Not everything needs to be UHD stuff, pixel art is nice too, and way underutilized outside of indieshit.
