The worst controller ever made.
The worst controller ever made
It's fine for everything that doesn't need D-Pad use. It's D-Pad is the worst on probably any games console.

>manlet hands
more comfortable to hold than ps3 controler, dpad sucks tho, but everything else is really good
I just tilt the d-pad up/down and left/right from one of two points in the button and it works fine.
it's so hard finding the right dpad to use for fighting games...
>dpad
Name a modern game designed with controllers in mind where menuing is a primary gameplay mechanic.
This image is getting me kinda turned on for some reason.
It's sort of surprising, considering that Xbox controllers evolved from Genesis an Saturn designs.
MGS5
The xbone dpad is a lot better. Very comfy controller.
All souls games and bloodborne.
Dpad is used mid-combat to swap items, spells, and weapons.
Dpad is also necessary because you still move your character and camera with the analogs while menuing, since the game never pauses.
One time while fighting a boss my weapon broke, so I had to find and equip a suitable backup while avoiding the boss in real time.
And all of these things can be done perfectly fine on the 360's d-pad. The only games where the d-pad really matters are old skool platformers and sidescrollers.
The d-pad isn't even that bad, the controller is pretty much perfect.
It's an xbox product
of course it sucks
only Sega, Sony and Nintendo made worthwhile hardware
>PS4
>Worthwhile hardware
oh i am laffin
you don't need to mention sega or nintendo
we know who you are by the first two lines in your post
fighting game is a dead genre
I bought an X360 controller recently and was surprised at how much the d-pad fucking sucked, but then the analog stick started acting up and I had it exchanged.
The new one works perfectly now. I think it might be some manufacturing quirk that never got resolved for some reason.
The dpad is shit even for menus though
i said made,
this gen is fucking worthless
last good gen was gen6
But that's wrong, you fucking retard. Atari, NEC, SNK, Bandai and M$ all made decent to great hardware.
Im a nintendo player actually
Maybe your sausage fingers are too fat.
This dpad meme came from sony fags back in the day since they got btfo and now its being perpetuated in gaming forever and the same squishy feeling dpad is in every pad out there.
THe battery pack was fucking horribly placed and the dpad could've been better. Aside for that, I liked it.
Xbone pad is superior in every single way though.
If I had to pick the worst controller, it would be the original Xbox controller, "The Duke". That thing had shitty triggers, bad dpad and was extremely weird and unergonomic .
what a weeb
Playstation has always been an underpowered console with cheap hardware that runs mutliplats like ass.
I respect the fact that you are mentally retarded, so I am not going to bother and argue with you.
For me personally, 360 is the best controller, with only Xbone controller being better.
I understand that everyone has it's own preferences, but come on.
>fighting game is a dead genre
>Tekken 7, MvCI (It's shit but this counts), DBFZ, Street Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros. Wii U (not a fighting game but still counts), KoF 14, Injustice 2
Shitposting as usual i see
No, the dpad is too fat
The xbone dpad any literally any dpad by sony or nintendo are totally perfectly fine
Sega dpads are shit too btw
and Xbox has always been a shitty brand
PS sucks
Xbox Sucks
We need SEGA back
>using wireless hardware
Controller is fine, just get rid of that retarded battery receiver.
Nope, it's one of the most ergonomic controllers ever made. The Xbone controller is extremely overrated though, you can barely do diagonals with the d-pad and pressing LB and RB requires the force of a thousand suns.
360 controller D-Pad is pure shit. You can't justify it
sure you are
if only the dpad wouldnt shift every time i press it
Ds4 and hori fc4 arebthe best
Nintendo completely ripped off the 360 design on their last two controllers. You're a moron.
The Duke was a masterwork of ergonomics, except when you had to press black or white.
It doesn't have a gyro, additional rear buttons and the triggers aren't dual stage even if you ignore the D-pad so it's not really perfect since I'd consider those a must have on controllers now.
Completely fine for menus.
are there aftermarket dpads for the 360 controller i can void my warranty installing?
actually good ones though
I can't remember a single time where it caused me any particular problems, but I agree that it's pretty bad.
On Xbone it's much better.
>it's not the steam controller
Yeah, it's actually usable. Name 5 ludos that use the gyro on PC.
And yet their sales number is a joke compared to more popular genres.
Steam controller isn't great either since you have to use the garbage configuration software to use it.
I just would consider it perfect without them since the bottoming out a trigger feels so much better with it and because all 3 of those afford me more options.
>Name 5 ludos that use the gyro on PC.
The point is that if I wanted to I could use Gyro, be it for camera control to supplement sticks or whatever.
>L-look mom! I'm being contrarian!
