I think after the whole Terra resisting him ordeal Xehanort only tries to go after people who are already aligned with the darkness and believe they have no hearts to resist him with like the Org 13 nobodies. However Lauriam's somebody would resist him and wouldn't be a easy body to possess.
Xigbar willingly gives his body to Xehanort.
Terra had the darkness in his heart manipulated until he was easier to possess.
Saix is kind of a weird one. He was very compliant as a nobody. I wouldn't think he would the type to give into darkness as Isa. But since he was unconscious when he reformed and kidnapped he had no way to resist becoming a nobody again. And thus becoming another Xehanort puppet.

I'm wondering about Xehanort's actions after being reformed. I mean it seems the dude would just immediately give up his heart and become a nobody and a heartless again. I mean shouldn't he have done that and sent Ansem SoD to start plunging worlds into darkness again and creating armies of heartless while Xemnas gathers their nobodies?

I think someone else said that the events in Daybreak town are canon, but the events in the worlds aren't. Cause othewise Aladdin, Alice, Snow White and the Seven Ds would have to be ancient and their KH1 and BBS stories would make no sense.

The stuff for the returning worlds like Alladin and shit are future projections or whatever, but the stuff with Ventus and Lauriam take place directly after the Keyblade War.
