Although it was certainly a fun game, It was the start of molyneuxs obsession with dumbing down and simplifying various game mechanics. Fable 3
only took that idea and made it worse.

it's really hard to play using the ace combat 6 flight stick.

Great except for the gutted magic system, removal of of lock on, and the ending.

Not perfect, but there was a real charm to it.

I think it 's probably does the best of the series finding that balance in the humor and drama.

too bad fable 3 took everything 2 did well and destroyed the franchise

Preferred the first game

PC port with some sort of mod tools is a $60 package for me. If only MS wasn't completely fucking retarded.

I had nothing but shit experiences with it.

Bought into the hype, got that stupid pre launch game, earned everything, got F2 as a gift via pre order for some work I did (still qualifies as a gift due to the amount), Like 5 hours in my save corrupts for literally no reason and I lost everything from the pre game.

To top it off the horrendous motion blur the game had as a side effect of trying to cover up the frame drops for the software anti aliasing killed my interest in the game as I couldn't look at it.

I was bitter that taking the selfish option in the end to wish your family back didn't result in reuniting with the hero's sister.

I still think the dream-like letter you get from Rose was a better narrative pay-off than the other endings had though.

There`s some kind of petition on steam but lionhead is gone so...

Lots of easy nitpicks, like the boring odd jobs for cash, or how the npcs you're supposed to form romantic relationships with are completely interchangeable, or how I can't kill Reaver to avenge my photographer buddy Barnum.

But I still look back on it fondly. Especially moments like the the depressing childhood, and dream sequence near the end romanticizing it to try and stop you from moving forward.
