yea it's pretty good. the CGI is crappy and it all feels a bit disjointed at times, but its certainly better than the miniseries was.

user, I've forgotten the mishaps between us, the piracy, the insults, and as a gift of our newly created bond, I have a surprise for you!

It's genuinely good. Not that scary, but the relationship between the kids feels real as fuck. It's also one of the few scary movies that actually has an ending that feels meaningful.

I really wish for this scene, Georgie would have gotten to crawl further away, and then Pennywise's arm lengthens and slithers toward him. That would have upped the creepy factor and looked so cool

REDS is literally the only tripfag I've ever been able to tolerate.

I don't think its as good as most people are saying and its really loud with the orchestra stings that are just annoying rather than scary, but at the same time there's genuinely a lot of good within too. It captures the feeling of Fall in a small town perfectly and just watching the kids bike around the town is peaceful. Some scenes are really well done too. They do things with Pennywise to make him more of a fable/mythical figure than anything else. He uses one character as a puppet and in another scene they play with his size. Stuff like that is the highlight of the film, but it does have the baggage of trying to appeal to teens that think that jumpscares are the epitome of horror. Overall I'd say it was worth the money and two hours I spent though.
