Elder scrolls thread? talking about the games themselves not really modding. Why did Bethesda have such a poorer quality game with Skyrim? Granted Oblivion was pretty choppy but it had its charm, and Morrowind is a timeless classic to most of us here. I know making the game easier panders to more casual of gamer, but I can't help what could've been if they didn't do that and actually put in effort and depth again instead of skyrim holding your hand and being as shallow as a puddle.

Contrary to popular belief Daggerfall was actually the best one because of the titties. Morrowind was fucking awful, the environment and combat system were some of the most boring things I've ever experienced in a video game. Oblivion was fucking awesome and I have the best memories of it and probably put the most time into it when it came out. I honestly fail to see what people hated so much about skyrim, I loved the combat (as a mage character), locations, and storylines, although oblivion had hands down the best storylines. Played arena for 5 minutes so can't really talk too much about it.
...
A daedric lord is behind the thalmor.
What's the best way to enjoy Skyrim? Mods? Playstyles? Whatcha boys got?
Any of you fuckers enjoying the actual Morrowind multiplayer right now?
When is my nyggalag Jyggalag coming back?
That image is like saying Fortnight is a mod of Unreal Tournament 2003. Hey, it's the same engine going through different iterations bro.~
Knights of Order were the coolest bitches. I wish you could have joined them.
Wasn't UE4 built from scratch instead of being heavily modified UE3?
My guess would be Azura.
She is in charge of bringing about the dusk of this age and the dawn of the next.
Mer always think they are ever so clever and able to outsmart daedra and become willing pawns.
Chimer
Ayelid
Now the Thalmor
As a bonus the mer always end up getting fucked.
I'm playing Skyrim as a Necromancer here looking for some good dead bodies.
Anybody know any good dead bodies I could pick up?
Somehow after playing the shitfest that was FO4 I found a much deeper appreciation for older Beth games, currently playing Skyrim, and holy shit the load times, it's almost instantaneous.
I would give my first born for New Vegas to have the gunplay, enemy variety and gun modding of FO4, it'd be my 10/10.
Oblivion > Morrowind > Daggerfall > Skyrim
The Elder Scrolls 1: Arena
and
The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall
are highly under-represented in this pic
I belive that is because Daggerfall takes place in Hammerfell - home of the Redguards who happen to be black
OP's pic is racist.
Did anyone else here prefer the Argonian designs in Oblivion. They looked distinct, had a variety of colours, and actually looked scaly.

The Morrowind ones looked the best
Never finished morrowind. But what I did play of it was pretty neat. I like how in depth everything is in that game. Oblivion was probably my favorite but seriously the oblivion gates ruined the fucking game for me. That shit was weak. I put over 500 hours in vanilla Skyrim when it released so ill probably never touch it again. Combat was great but I didn't like how there were no skills and I hate perk systems.
the animations were dreadful though.
true but they looked the most lizard-like
I'm still mad they removed acrobatics in skyrim
Honestly though, vanilla with maybe a mod or two. Too many mods can be overwhelming, and many of the graphics mods kill the original atmosphere
