In Water should have been the only ending you get on your first playthrough senpai, and all the others bonus endings on repeat playthroughs. Leave ending in particular really messes up the mood of the game.

I don't get how you can think this when fucking Eddie who didn't technically kill anyone dies, but James who murders his wife because he was sick of her shit gets to redeem himself. Again, considering the themes of the game and everything leading up to the end, Leave doesn't work. It's a feel good ending for normies.

Again, the murder of Mary and the existence of Maria are two separate things. You don't have to care about Maria - that still doesn't change the fact that you've murdered your wife out of emotional frustration. James also feels so guilty that not only does he want to punish himself, but lies to himself about ever killing her. Considering the heavy, decaying atmosphere, all the events you go through and how every other character meets a tragic end, (with the fact that the game is designed to have an emotional impact), In Water is the most contextually relevant ending. Having an excuse for how everyone else 'fails' the SH test but James gets to pass is pretty normie.

The prison was demolished and they built the Historial Society on it's site. James is going through the Historical Society's story. The player can see a picture of the prison and the Wiltse coal mine just before exploring a prison and a place that looks like a mine from hell.

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" is a all-in-one fix, that works as a no-cd crack as well. It is included in the pack.
If you use the NEW fix mentioned in the guide, you can use the sh2proxy's EXE as the no-cd crack!
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
If SH3 runs like shit even on a strong PC, check and lower the Rendering Resolution setting.
SH2-4 do not support Xinput gamepads. Either use Xpadder, a DirectInput pad, or just play with KB+M.
You can now see some decent emulator settings for SH1 as well in the guide. If the image of the game does NOT fill your entire screen in fullscreen mode, check your plugin AND GPU control panel's image scaling settings!
Also give the new PGXP emulator a shot for a lot less wobbly PS1 graphics.

Cage of Cradle is a cancalled comic book made by Masahiro Ito(SH1-3 Art director) and Hiroyuki Owaku(SH1 co-writer, SH2-3 scenario writer). Konami was done with Silent Hilll, after SH3 Silent Hill basically became a low budget series, so they tried to finish the story with a comic book made for classic cellphones, then Konami cancalled everything and gave the series to low budget Western devs who follow orders blindly because they could churn out low budget games faster.
