Either they have far too much detail which you just cover up anyway with helmets, armor, or other clothing, or they have so little detail they may as well not exist at all.

What was the first game to have an extensive character creator? The earliest I can think of is WWF Warzone but I'm sure there were others before that, especially on PC.

Real bosses/dungeons and meaning to the dungeons? Before I quit, there were a handful of bosses and NO dungeons or raids or anything to similar. Making money through combat was simply grinding adds in the wild all day for drops. Which is OK to me but even I get bored as fuck doing it. At least give PvMs a way to make money WITH thought, deliberation, and adventure. Oh you just climbed this high as fuck mountain past the worst mobs? Here is a dungeon with even harder mobs that you can have a chance to get a nice equip.
And gear, the game needed a real gear system not whatever the fuck that shit is now.
Outside of fishing merchanting and horse training I remember the life skills being useless.
Allowing AFKing was fucking stupid. I would take my shitty netbook, load up BDO on the bare minimum settings, and leave that shit running all night. Like who the fuck thought of that shit? The game draws so much power on minimum settings I wasn't killing my main PC for that shit. Why not just make it so players could set their characters to AFK server side, and give them the ability to completely close the game?
And of course, since it's Korean it has to have gambling for upgrades and microtransactions for said system.

You haven't even tried the game? The characters fade in and out everytime you change position. There's head movement for the male but I'm assuming vr mode doesn't emulate it.

you dont use honey select, or artificial academy type games to make fictional characters.

you use them to make girls that look like your high school/irl crushes. that way its like youre really doing it with them, it probably feels just like the real thing
