How to kill him? without spamming duck flare or other limits I'm level 35.

Firaga

I only have Fira.

Fira

Does no damage I tried it.

You're probably doing something wrong, Vexen being the ice user that he is is pretty weak against fire, destroy his shield first through whatever means you're comfortable with then spam fira on his ass
And of course, don't neglect your reflect

Come back at end game like my old ass did. Save your effort for the data copy.

Did fucking everything back when fm+ came out but after a recent playthrough a decade later, I only had the energy to do Terra. That last nobody fight before the garden of assemblage almost made me drop the game.

Use roll and quick run to avoid the circle at the start, then break his shield. Start your combo after you break his shield with fire, finish with square for finishing leap then horizontal slash in the air and use a fire finisher to end it. Rinse and repeat until he starts using his DM then cry because you're not using limits for i frames

fuck what everybody says here. max that drive, go final form, firaga him and go batshit with your combos

Is it "fee-rah" and "fee-rah-ga"? Or "Fa-ee-ra" and "Fa-ee-rah-ga"?

>That last nobody fight before the garden of assemblage almost made me drop the game.

Did you not destroy his shield? Because fire + wisdom form fucks his shit up.

fee-rah-ga

>Fuck what everyone said, just do what everyone already said
You're not wrong, but he was told multiple times

Turn off your Combo Plus abilities. If you have Fenrir or Negative Combo, equip one of them to make it so you only have a one-step combo. The faster you can launch into finishers during that fight, the better. If you don't have Negative Combo or Fenrir, just remove all of your Combo Plusses.

That's what I thought. Thanks.

I don't have final form either.

I would just break his shield with a combo, then combo him on the ground using the finisher that knocks him into the air, then keeping hitting till he falls down, and then repeat that twice. He seemed to consistently get mad and use an icicle from the ground when you did a full combo on him for a third time in a row after a single shield break. So I just reflera'd it for damage. I usually kept dying from icicles spawning from the ground and one shotting me while fighting the 3rd anti-sora. Either that or I just get hit by one of the triple snowflakes while distracted by anti-sora because I accidentally got caught in a combo.

why dont you have the best form

Fhy-rah-ga

It just kept fucking going man. Doesn't help I never use reflega. Not saying it's impossible for me, but rather my patience nowadays is thin.

Because you can fight Vexen as soon as you get to Agrabah and if I do anything to make it easier for myself I'm obviously a shitter.

>Playing
>Kingdom
>Hearts
>2
>EVER

Found your issue.

But it's the best one.

Just summon Stitch.

>if I do anything to make it easier for myself I'm obviously a shitter.
I wouldn't worry about that, there's a lvl 99 Vexen waiting for you in Hollow Bastion

Never even thought to use Stitch. Fuck, come to think of it, I never use limits or summons at all, and back in 2007 I never once used reflect for anything. My problem at large was probably going back into the game with a gung ho fighting style.

It's fucking awful. KH1 is the only one worth playing.

Kingdom Hearts fans go in the same containment tub as weebshit, Naruto, Modern Sonic, etc. so as to preserve the concept of taste.

Okay, moving on.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is arguably the best game in the series once you understand its mechanics and aren't a retard that believes its "mash triangle to win" since that will get your shit kicked in during a lot of the original bosses.

I mean I like KH1 a bunch too but KH2 is just fun to control, especially when you've fleshed out your drive form abilities. It's a level of mobility and freedom I can't help but cum over, and the Final Mix content is a blast.

do u rike mai bahzaku anonkun

>no pride rock peak insanity in kh2fm

That last room is literally the hardest part of the game, assuming you're playing at Level 1.

>Kingdom Hearts bosses are only hard for bullshit reasons like no flinching or randomly ignoring flinching, combos that take off most of your health, long periods of invincibility, or other such shit

Prove me wrong

>He lets Saix's lackeys run a train on him

>when he shrinks
>it's an enclosed area

if i were you id lock myself at a certain even level , i never really saw the point of going to lvl 99 because you can beat anything in the game at lvl 50 on critical if you git the skills. even on level 1 now that they fixed everything on the updates. and final form is a must have because its the ultimate form. it will help you destroy most things. if you think vexen is hard oo boy are you gonna go crazy at the nobody horde in cavern of remembrance like nigga you will FRUSTRATE.

Stop playing BBS.

shrinky shrinky

Stop playing DDD

Just stop playing.

BBS is probably the worst because the secret bosses basically devolve into spamming dodge until you have a small enough opening to use Thunder surge and then go back to dodging forever.

They did nothing wrong. They just want to protect their master.

Coming back from Monster Hunter, I kinda wish there were better tells.

I beat Julius with Riku without using balloon. that was fun. sora however you gotta use balloon.

Extra bosses, and the final boss, in KH2 pulled this shit a lot too.

>Kingdom Hearts bosses are only hard for bullshit reasons like no flinching or randomly ignoring flinching
The fact that KH2FM doesn't have these problems is why people regularly cite it as the best game in the series.

depends on the enemy. xemnas in chair and zebra xemnas were programmed to be that way. you dont need them to flinch

This. You don't pronounce fire as fear.

don't use sleights, most people don't even know you lose your first car when using them, it's easy to run out in a boss fight. Use up firaga by making sleights of three fire cards. Pretty easy if you try to stay behind him

i always say fear ah ga

He's playing KH2:FM, not Re: Com.

...

Xemnas in both cases flinches, all of the KH2 bosses have revenge values that was put in so you can't be cheap and loop something to death, and really its only big enemies/bosses that don't flinch ever in the game.

yes you are right. i meant it just doesn't seem like they do as much as others

I would argue otherwise but I would say at least there's a little more strategy to that. KH2's (minus Xemnas because lol) requires at least some level of timing where in BBS it's rollrollrollrollrollrollthundersurgerollrollrollroll oh shit he caught me in his 30 second long combo but I'm not dead because second chance time to use curaga and then rollrollrollrollroll

Kill nomura, shimomura and everyone from that fucking shit of a team that made those abominations.

you literally need 5 curagas in your deck to survive the lasers too with terra.

I forgot Terra has it the worst because his dodge move is wisdom form's fucking slide, where Aqua and Ven get spammable cartwheels and rolls which offer better iframes

or maybe it was iframes at all
