>Remake or remaster
>Gameplay is actually worse
What's her name Sup Forums?
Remake or remaster
Wouldn't it be easier to name a remaster where the gameplay got better?
Protip: None exist.
Resident Evil 1.
How fucking nuRu?
Worth it to make Crash relevant again.
Gameplay is still really solid too.
Only like how the changed that you could drop down instead of using the rope and how a few areas had more guards and less gun cameras, every other change was for the worse.
N sane trilogy is objectively superior, especially for Crash 1
>unfucked gem system
>unfucked save system
>unfucked jump physics
>time trials
>coco playable
majora's mask HD
homeworld
fucked up the formations in the engine. one of the best features of the original was broken and unmodable
If you think the time trials being added to 1 and 2 were anything worthwhile after fundamentally breaking their respective jumping mechanics, you need your skull bashed in. Agree with you otherwise tho.
TTS was literally good you high yanking sacker
Not Crash
Anyway MM3D in a pure gameplay perspective
Everything by Square Enix
I feel like the original crash was a goofy cartoon character and they made him hyper realistic and ugly instead of goofy. his quirks remind me of rabbids or minions now.
they should have done a spyro collection instead 2bh
How were the jump mechanics in 1 and 2 "broken"?
They're doing that
I'm hyped
>"realistic"
>does the exact same things he did before but because he's HD now "hurr it's pixar and dreamworks minions lol"
Sword of Mana.
>N Sane Trilogy
More like gameplay, visuals and audio are all worse.
Every single remake/remaster destroys everything good about the original games. Making everything stupidly detailed for the graphics whores, pointlessly changing iconic sound effects, making the music worse, simplifying everything for the kiddies, replacing the voices that everyone loved. All they are is soulless cash grabs by greedy devs who shit all over the longtime fans to appeal to nu-gamers and children.
It's the same fucking game with better visuals, holy shit.
Nostalgia faggots are the worst.
not what I said, you are just a cocksucker. watch the intro vicarious visions cutscene that you can't skip on booting the game and tell me crash isn't an ugly generic character now.
Similar thing happened to Ratchet, they took a charcter that seemed quite determined and made him lame.
crash was never good
Looks like Crash to me. Maybe you're just one of the nostalgiafags who despises any and all changes.
no, crash's hitbox is a Unity pill shape now instead of rectangular which makes every jump tighter, because you will get pushed off the ledge in situations you would not have before. you also fall faster. you never get sent back more than one level on game over so it's not a huge deal, but claiming that the jumping is the same is just plain wrong.
Congratulations, you are a mindless, unperceptive shit-eater
>you also fall faster
Keep the button pressed and you don't: every problem: every problem I had with jumping vanished once I realized that
>Making everything stupidly detailed for the graphics whores
Well, they weren't going to keep the simple poly look.
>pointlessly changing iconic sound effects
Granted, though hardly a big issue
>making the music worse
Subjective, I enjoyed the new OST
>simplifying everything for the kiddies
Granted, the hints do give quite a bit away.
>replacing the voices that everyone loved
Granted. Funnily enough, most of the voices in N. Sane Trilogy appeared before in the series, but later (Debi as Coco in Twinsanity, Burton as N. Tropy and N. Gin in WoC)
Its not just 1 and 2, this goes for 3 as well, they changed Crash's hitbox to have rounded edges on the bottom, instead of just being a box, resulting in many more deaths in the games because you will make a clean jump and just slide off the platform you were trying to jump on, hell basically any turtle jump in Crash 1 is a leap of faith because 9 times out of 10 you'll slide off of them unless you land dead center on them.
I wouldn't say that the gameplay is much worser (mainly with the jump mechanics. The only thing that was worse was the jet ski one). It's different, that I can tell, but it's not unplayable.
I got my ass kicked on the first few levels with the jump mechanics but like a kid, I learn and adapt. Afterwards, game's pretty much OK for the most part. The game starts to feel like the Crash Bandicoot I know in the past. The game has stumbles here and there but overall, it still manages to do it's job well while able to improve some things.
For those who played Crash Bandicoot before and completely engrossed it, I can understand your rage with the new jump mechanics but at the same time, I don't believe that you should be that angry.
I'm just hoping that the Remaster will attract new fans and reviving old ones so that Crash will be back with full force and also hoping that Vicarious Vision will learn from this game and will be able to apply future Crash game with their gained knowledge.
Sounds like something that is easily fixed by slightly adapting to the changes.
are you retarded? shit was 100x better
Crash always had shitty gameplay. Platformers are meme tier and crash was always just some derivative money grab garbage that only pure autistic people latched onto
...
oh shit!! you just went against the hivemind with that opinion.. prepare to be BTFO!!!
>defending a shit design choice
There's no adapting to this, it is a problem that you can't adapt to, what is your definition of adapting here? Just not getting frustrated when you slip off of a platform instead of landing on it?
>I can't adapt to this, it's so hard and mean and evil and sucky!
And here I thought gamers had skill.
has to be one of the worst remakes, not that the original games were good in the first place though.
Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and actually explain what there is to adapt to here, instead of jerking off about gamer skill.
Ocarina 3D
Time and land your jumps better. I've rarely had problems with it and people are 100%ing the trilogy perfectly fine.
contrarian: the post
>Exact same characteristic aside from Polygon count
>HE'S THUPER THENERIK NAO, RIGHT IN THE NOSTALGIA
Retard.
I've been playing games for 15 years, I'm great at timing my jumps in platformers, yet in Crash I end up missing the platform even when I do a full jump at the edge of the previous platform, and when it comes to 100%, I'm doing it too, with a friend we've completed Crash 1 and 2 100% in the trilogy.
The problem is most prevalent in Crash 1 because you can't use high jumps to get around it, but my friend and I have both run into the issue at points in 2 and 3.
Just fucking admit its a legitimate problem with the otherwise great remakes, instead of being a faggot that defends anything and everything that comes out of a remake, no matter how shit the thing your defending actually is.
Anyone got that video of that cunt journalist who got the game early and was terrible at it and said it was hard?
>new crash is like the autistic twin brother of the old crash
please be patient user
