I've never played either of these.
Which one is better?

Hourglass no question.
The boat is far better than the fucking train bullshit.
Spirit tracks
Phantom hourglass's main problem is that it has a temple that forces you to revisit it after every fucking dungeon. If you don't mind that kind shit, then play it first.
To be fair that temple isn't so bad. The puzzles are pretty good and the teleporting makes the distance fine.
Should've made a poll, it'd be a lot easier to gauge opinions like that.
ST
Boat>>Train. Spirit Tracks takes everything else.
minish cap
I'm gonna vote Phantom Hourglass because fuck trains.
These are the only handheld Zeldas you need to play

whichever one doesn't have the pan flute crap
Phantom hourglass is fucking great I want to play it now never understood why people could hate it so much just because of the repeating temple, which I never thought was too bad at all because it's usually had the hardest puzzles.
No please, don't remind me of pacman with trains, just when i thought the game couldn't get any worse and souless they managed to outdo themselves.
Not the trains... Nooooo.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The game wasn't great, but the overworld music was good.

Spirit Tracks has much better dungeons but also a far shittier overworld. Phantom Hourglass is much more even across the board, merely decent in a lot of respects but Temple of the Ocean King has been make or break for many people. Apparently people like the controls more in ST as well but I didn't care either way, they basically played the same to me. They both have a lot of character and contenders for the best sidekick in the series as well. Ultimately I prefer PH just because I hate the train that much but ST unquestionably has higher highs.
I dropped the game there. Did I miss out on much?
Never played Spirit Tracks, but I loved Phantom Hourglass. It managed to use basically every gimmick the DS had, and use them in a way that was charming and fun.
Hey, 'member the ghost train?
I dropped the game at that point.
Spirit Tracks by learning how Hourglass fucked up and improving on it.
Don't buy into fags who say phantom hourglass because it has boat. It was nice thing but they made incredibly boring by making you select a route for it to go in and then that's that. With spirit tracks the overworld travel is a lot more enjoyable and you have to actively pay attention to take the route you want to go in besides fighting off monsters. Spirit tracks also improved on basically everything that phantom hourglass had (except for final boss)
That was right before the final boss if i remember well.
You missed out on best Zelda.
I thought that was a positive for it. It wasn't tedious, it was fun to go back to.
They are both fairly cute
Oh shit, Link is a ghost now?
