Now a days it feels like everything is fueled off nostalgia and not original ideas, and none of it ends up working. It feels too tryhard and stale. They try to do too much.

More than zero, actually. While he's obviously not as popular as Crash, he's certainly one of the more recognizable Sony mascots. Even my mum knows him as 'that skeleton knight man', and she's super uncool.

As it turns out it's very difficult to make 3D ARPG combat controls tight enough to feel responsive and have weight to the animations. Too many games try to mimic the gameplay without nailing this first crucial factor first.

I would say his chances are very good. I cant find the artical, but after the success of Crash Bandicoot, Sony announced that they were going to take suggestions from fans on old IPs they want to see come back, and Medievil is a fan favorite that people have been asking for, for a while now
