> Lucky enough to drop close enough to circle > Lucky enough to find a vehicle if too far away from circle > Lucky enough to not get murdered by someone just looking at a door waiting > Wait for 30 people or less > Crawl into smaller circles > Always top 10
What am I doing wrong? This isn't fun.
Austin Fisher
That's the game. The most effective way to win isn't fun, and the way to have fun almost guarantees you'll lose.
Isaiah Myers
Group up in duo or squad.
Adrian Hall
And do the exact same thing.
Jack Smith
No. Those let you actually fight back. T. Someone who actually won with squad.
Jackson Walker
Sure that method can get you into top 10 but makes it incredibly difficult to actually win since you're so under geared. Surprisingly enough it's more fun to actually play the game and if you're not trash you can get to top 10 pretty easily by picking your fights and playing smart. Play in first person and go for chad drops, you'll learn how the shooting mechanics work and how to react when under fire. Hiding the whole game isn't fun and teaches you nothing
Colton Lopez
drop pochinki every game so that you actually get to kill people
Elijah Morgan
The gamecould be fun if the gunplay didn't suck so badly. And if the netcode wasn't complete dogshit.
Jaxon Barnes
I've noticed that all the people who say this stuff are solo autists who don't know how to have fun in squad. I've had fun even grouping up with randoms, hell, I've added like 6 or 7 people as friends after playing with them in Squad.
Ayden Hughes
Luck gives a bonus to players who aren't as good as others.
If not for this, shitters would never even get close to a win.
Michael Foster
I have no idea how battleroyale made it to the mainstream. I guess it's just a matter of streamers. I suppose people just really like watching ARMA-like gameplay, but dislike the quiet time.
Battle Royale is a bad concept though. I'm not saying there's no skill to it, but there's easily just as much luck as there is skill. I guess if you're a streamer and want to do flashy shit for the audience, it's a fun game. But otherwise, it's a very boring game with a lot of that DayZ unfairness but without what made that unfairness fun in DayZ.
Eli Long
>I have no idea how battleroyale made it to the mainstream. Piracy.
No, seriously. Back pre-2002, if you wanted to show off your movie cred, you had to be good at both knowing about the movie and being able to find it, so only the most hardcore of hardcore fans could see these niche and forgotten movies like Battle Royale or Clue or other cult classics. Then you got to be the cool guy and show it off to all your friends.
After torrenting became popular and easy, people just grab any title they recognize and even some other ones they don't and just watch it. Now "Cult Followings" don't mean shit.
Hudson Price
It was on netflix for years.
Kevin Butler
Play with friends and realize it's infiinitely more fun to dick around and kill the occasional fags than try to win every game by yourself.
Jeremiah White
why not play GTA Online do the exact same thing but with better mechanics
David Watson
Dude, don't do that.
Joshua Gutierrez
Your not playing the game, thats what you are doing wrong. If all you do is play hide and seek in a shootie people game, no wonder you have no fun.
Henry Taylor
>What am I doing wrong?
Trying to win instead of trying to have fun
its weird that video games is such a big hobby now that there are people out there that dont intuitively find fun in a game like pubg
Chase James
>not good enough to get into top 10 the fun way aka shooting guys >dont just play for fun searching for engagements
BAH WHY IS THIS GAME BAD
Brody Powell
Winning is literally the point of this game, winning IS the fun in this game. It's a fucking match type survivial shootin game. What the fuck else would you play it for?
Nathaniel Diaz
Is this a joke? Why would anyone want to play GTA online?
Juan Gray
You might as well play actual sports and devote that competitive feeling to it to actually get somewhere instead of winning a pubg game and feeling good about it, and then losing ten others and being mad.
Brayden Collins
The problem is the map is to fucking big. It should be about half the size. Not seeing anyone else for more than 50% of the match should be an extreme irregularity. Its why I stopped playing. It got boring doing nothing so often.
Xavier Stewart
Survival is literally the point of food, why the fuck are you eating anything else than oatmeal and potatoes?
Landon Reyes
Thinking that getting top 10 means anything, that's what you're doing wrong.
Nolan Evans
There are games for fucking around. DayZ, Exile/Epoch for ARMA 3. PUBG is about winning a match.
Levi Bailey
LUCK< PURE CHAD SKILL keep giving me free kills and wins Sup Forums noobs
Logan Nguyen
As this guy pointed out If you are not good enough to get to top 10 by killing people you should drop school or military till you are in fact good enough. Because getting there by crouching and hiding is not fun at all. If you are not willing to gid gud I advice you to refund because this game is abhorrent if you aren't good and playing solo.
Connor Gonzalez
>Drop near a car spawn >Try to find a rifle or shotgun >Stop looting after you have a decent gun >Take the car and drive towards gunshots all game >Murder people and get phat loot >Get top 10-20 consistently >Win games frequently Playing aggresive is fun
Asher James
shit analogy, here's an appropiate one Consumption is literally the point of food, why the fuck would you do anything but eat it?
James Brooks
Are u retarded?
Justin Gomez
Well fine, then my point would be that playing with food is fun. The whole "point of" mentality in general is shit. Just play games like you want and smear the food around and have a gay old time because we're all dying in the end
Isaiah Barnes
Its how you win, not just winning. There is a chance you can Win by going afk, thats fun right? Its a game, something you play and if you 'win' by not playing and not enjoying yourself just to 'win' you are not really winning are you?
Nathan Ross
Says who? Who is forcing you to try to win with minimal risk? Who is forcing you to play as boring as possible? Developers? God? The reptoids?
Lincoln Brooks
The game needs a smaller map for quick matches.
Jose Phillips
Can't wait for that new map.
Asher White
>hear gunshots >sprint in the opposite direction
>hear footsteps >stop moving and hide until the circle forces you to move
>all I have is iron sights because lol rng >still make it to top 10 almost every game
shit "game", 3/10
Wyatt Gonzalez
Stop playing it so safe. Most people playing this game are terrible, it's incredibly easy to get kills if you've played any FPS ever. Once you get a feel for basic tactics just go hunting, the best way to win is to kill everyone else. The best way to gear up is to kill others and take their gear. Instead of being the guy that gets sneaked up on, sneak up on others.
I still haven't won a solo game but I'm almost always in the top 10 with a minimum of 5 kills, the match I just played ended with me in second place with 17 kills. The same ideas work even better in duos and squads, I have a ~47% winrate in duos and ~28% in squads this month. All you've gotta do is predict where people will be and then either bait them into coming to you or sneak up on them yourself. Break LOS as often as possible and use control to move quietly.
Aiden Moore
>Most people playing this game are terrible, it's incredibly easy to get kills if you've played any FPS ever
ive played fps forever and i lose every single fight in this game, i just dont get it
im glad they are replacing the ballistics becuase they seem random as fuck, and 20 tick is honestly a joke
Brandon Perez
This nigga gets it
You forgot to censor the bottom, M0m
Tyler Sullivan
I know, I only really wanted to censor my friends' names anyway.
How are you losing fights? And what game mode are you playing? I find first person only servers a lot easier since I've never really played third person shooters, and tactics are completely different depending on what perspective you're playing in.
Jaxson Gutierrez
People spend too much time on winning.
You get nothing for winning
Just have fun.
Justin Collins
What the hell is happening in this game when someone is right in front of me and we both go full auto and I lose every time
I can hit targets far away and even lead them but any time it comes down to shooting at each other 5 feet away I lose and Im not sure why
Gavin Morales
>How are you losing fights?
cant aim as fast as other people, im 35 and always high
it took 31 years of playing vidya, but i can no longer compete on the same level, finally
also the gunplay in this game is just horseshit, i had 2 different videos saved where i had the crosshair directly on people for multiple shots and missed
Tyler Howard
What guns are you usually using? If you're using any AR but the M4 the recoil from full auto will make most of your shots miss at point blank range. SMGs are better but are more of a mid-range weapon, the most reliable point-blank weapons are obviously shotguns which can kill in one shot without risking damage to yourself or your armor.
If you've both got ARs the other guy is probably just handling the recoil better or has better armor. Bullet caliber also matters, if he's firing an AKM and you're firing a 5.56 gun you're going to need to hit him a lot more than he hits you, but on the other hand it's also easier to hit full auto with 5.56. Headshots still count too, often I'll just go straight for the headshot if someone opens up on my at close range.
Connor Watson
Just crawl near someones car, wait for him to start engine, than jump to back seat and wait. Than after a while press T and say "Hello! Where are we going?" He jumps out to kill you but dies because of physics. You will be surprise how easy it is and works almost every time.
Colton Ortiz
Don't play high then if you care about winning. How fast you can bring your gun to bear is impacted by attachments, some scopes slow it down but some grips and stocks speed it up. A red dot is the best for fast aiming at medium-close range, both for your own eyesight and for game mechanic speed bonuses.
I've found the gunplay to be great, I've only once had bullet registration issues (which cost me a duo game last night in the final 1v1) but I have a good computer and connection. There's probably also just some luck involved there, I know someone with a better computer than mine who gets way more bugs than I do in game.
Juan Reed
>the only way to have fun is to win Good thing the definition of winning to me is getting two kills. Anything more is a bonus. I feel bad for people who need chicken dinner to have fun, because this is the wrong fucking game for that kind of person.
John Gomez
This, even though I win a lot in many of my favorite matches I didn't even make it to the top 10. As long as my kills exceed my deaths (or my team's deaths) I'm happy, getting kills and general shenanigans are where the fun is at.
Try this guy's suggestion , car-related kills are the best. Roadkills, ramming other cars off of cliffs, hiding in enemy cars, blockading popular bridges with a wall of cars, driving under a falling supply drop and driving off with it on top of your car, the fun never ends.
Christian Howard
The more I read and see of this game the more I want to play it despite how terribly-made it looks. I don't think anyone actually believes they're going to fix all of the terrible performance issues, animations, textures, etc. They don't need to. If you can release THIS and sell this many copies there's not incentive to improve it. But these games can be fun. I'm not falling for another early access open world unscripted survival competitive shooting game meme again, though.
