Somebody has to be living in the cities in the backgrounds of the various Sonic games, like in Starlight Zone or Chemical plant zone.
What's your opinion on Humans in Sonic games and other Sonic media?
Other urls found in this thread:
None of them matter except Robotnik
I want to cream the rabbit
I'm more interested in humans in Sonic girls desu
I like to think Sonic girls are sluts for human cock
I like the Unleashed ones. Sure they were 100% stereotypes, but none of them were offensive or made to ridicule and fit the game's "Pixar" aesthetics. I wouldn't mind doing more "anime" style humans for a future game though.
They're stealing the anthro women.
They're fine.
The series seems kind of schizophrenic about it. Sonic Rush Adventure takes place around an island village of koalas but up until Forces the GAME series has shied away from showing civilizations of Mobius-style furries.
Japan clearly considered Sonic to live in the "real" world back in the day. It's unclear if the Unleashed world building was a one time thing or not.
>Mobius
You can leave.
>Spent my high school prom night jacking off to Sonic porn
Life is disappointing, but I'm disappointing at the same time.
Dr. Robotnik is trying to get rid of the degeneracy and is the real good guy, he has been trying to save humanity from Sonic in every game.
PLUMBED
i think it is unfitting, it just seems weird, those characters clearly do not belong there and in contrast its cartoony to reality. similarly this new mario odyssee freaks me out because only certain characters follow a stylized arstyle while the rest take inspiration from real life and it contrasts in an undesirable way
I don't doubt they exist in those building but I just don't really care. Eggman is the only human the series needs.
>Life is disappointing, but I'm disappointing at the same time.
Prom is disappointing because it's actually fucking boring, the only interesting ones are those that take place in military bases or navy ships
If Sonic Team wants Sonic to interact with humans again, then cartoon humans is the way to go. I don't even care if the ones from Unleashed are not that great, just don't put Sonic 06 humans next to Sonic characters ever again.
Human mobs never look like they belong in the same world with Sonic. I'm glad they're gone and replaced by animal people. Finally it makes sense.
I've always imagined Vector or Charmy being normal people living in town, not some special snowflake monsters.
I like to think humans and animal characters just live in separate places. ie animals don't live in the city.
>nobody's mentioned Sonic X yet
You've changed, Sup Forums.
Can a human and midget animal person find love together?
yes but im sure you truly meant 'mutual' love
A bunch of robots
Just have non-realistic humans and anthros/Mobians/furries/whatever co-existing if you desperately need to show some average joes in a cutscene.
The real question is why does everyone care about the human/furry ratio in Sonic to begin with?
I never liked it outside of Robotnik, like sure the cartoony ones in Unleashed did it best but even then I'd prefer it not to be a thing in general since it always just feels wrong.
coolblue artstyle is so sterile and devoid of detail i dont know how to enjoy it anymore
I AM EXPERIENCEING DEJA VU THANKS TO THESE POSTS MAKING POST FOR ARCHIVE AND SCIENTIFICAL DEVELOPMENT
Excuse me?
Mobius is earth thousands of years in the future
Humans still exist and the mobians are irradiated animals merged with human DNA
Its canon check it out
That wasn't even canon in the comics.
sonic unleashed did it best. make them cartoony.
I really don't care about them, however they were introduced in the worst games in the entire franchise
>The only worthwhile playstyle is the first one you play and its short as fuck
>It only covers a part of the story
>Everything else is fucking awful and retarded
>You're forced to play it to get the full story
>Shitty chao minigame that just fills space
Holy shit, i never dropped a franchise so fast
STACHED
...
I always liked the Adventure games and their weird thing of completely realistic humans and furries who look like Mickey Mouse living together with noone ever pointing out how weird it is. I kinda appreciated how casually surreal it was.
I gonna be honest, I always felt having cartoony humans or no humans at all instead was comparatively boring.
are you retarded?
t. Boostfag.
It was canon in the comics before the 252 reboot. But it's irrelevant if your talking about the games since each piece of media (games/comics/cartoons) exist in their own universe.
I don't care about boostshit Timmy, now go back to bed and wait for your mom to tuck you in
I wish they would just turn the Sanic chars into humans.
Why would Eggman be the only human?
Somebody like this better be the obligatory "relatable human" character in the live-action movie, and not some twinky Chris chump.
Mario has certainly turned into a midget since his early days.
No he's just mentally ill.
>Action series
What, was "platformer" not a common term back in the days?
I vaguely remember this scene. Aren't they making fun of Knuckles's dick or something?
Okay now that I think about it, Amy is confirmed to be 12 years old while Mario's age isn't verified he certainly doesn't look like a teenager. What did they mean by this image?
well remembered
>Aren't they making fun of Knuckles's dick or something?
You mean about the fact it has four heads?
>i'll never live there
Fuck no. It's so dumb. Give us furries, trolls, literally anything but boring-ass humans.
Video games in general weren't common back then, as the industry was still recovering from the crash. But "platformer" as a term wasn't really known until the 90s, no.
I kinda like Adventure 1's humans the best. Not super cartoony like in Unleashed, but not uncanny valley like 06.
To be honest the early 3D models are the only things that keep them from fitting right in.
They didn't call it that because every game had platforming back then.
They make Sonic look like a fucking dwarf which is not the impression you got from the genesis games at all.
That's exactly the impression you get. Sonic is quite a bit smaller than a short fat man.
True.
To be fair though, he IS a hedgehog.
nobody wants to remember that
Mariamy is OTP
Video game bosses are always big. Look at this, Sonic towers over all the woodland critters.
You know what this scene really needs? A regular fucking blue-collar guy just standing around looking bored.
Goddamn I want to fuck Amy
I'm not even into furry shit normally but man
>I'm not even into furry shit normally
Step 1: Buy a Sonic costume.
It doesn't even have to be a good one. Girl's practically blind.
characters in the sonic the hedgehog can be whatever age the universe plot calls for them to be
have those people who used to do the funny as shit yoshi cosplay porn ever done a sonic/amy?
...
sonic characters should not count as furry
>You will never sniff Amy's freshly worn panties
Sonic characters invented furry.
>Look at this, Sonic towers over all the woodland critters.
He's like twice as tall as a normal rabbit or a chicken. That's still much shorter than a human.
youtube.com
HE'S THE FASTEST THING ALIIIIIIVEYAAAY
I'd be fine with it just being like Dragon Ball with humans and beast-people coexisting with no explanation given.
amy is one of the worst characters ever created
I think humans can work fine if they're absurdly stylized like Robotnik. Normal humans like in Sonic 06 is uncanny valley as fuck.
that's not shadow
Is it wrong to be attracted to Cream?
i don't count shadow since he's a bad OC dounut steel
I like them, they are an easy way to have mobs and make the world relatable.
As long as you use the Unleashed or Billy Hatcher designs.
I always think most animal mobs look stupid. Only Archie got this right and even then it took time and EVEN that still had human mobs too.
Humans are eldrich beings that bring nothing but death and destruction in the form of industrialism.
Robotnik is the only accurate human in the Sanic canon.
Yeah this, it gives the world more personality.
It seems really stupid not to have humans in Sonic, especially with Eggman existing.
but that is tojyo
I like that art style, it fits both the furries and the humans. Who did this issue?
Evan Stanley, I think.
i was wrong, i can't tell the difference anymore, tojyo's new shit is just as awful
They're okay. I also think people aren't fond of NPCs in general in this series, considering a lot of people are mixed on the animal ones in Forces, so it's not just humans that get this.
They could always just go full retard and make Eggman an anthropomorphic egg. You know stupid shit like that, like that Power Puff Girls episode about anthropomorphic broccoli invading. Anthropomorphic food is a stupid idea, but it's been done before. And Eggman is a nice fit for it.
The NPCs in forces were just shat out of the character creator. If they were made from scratch they wouldn't look so jarring.
Is this the first time a Sonic game has shown a city/town of anthro animals?
Yes.
No. Sonic Rush Adventure did it, as another user pointed out. They were all animal NPCs there as well.
They could stand to look better.
I always figured it could work. Think about how humans and animals live together in DragonBall. That shit seems to work well
Mario is canon a 25 year old.
>Amy haters exist in this world
I hope the next Sonic Mania has her as the lead
sent to a different planet to conquer it. that planet happens to be Sonic's planet
They need to be off screen unless they serve a good purpose (and they never have), and even then they need to be at least as well designed as Dr. Eggman so that they fit into the style of a world full of three-foot talking neon colored furries, like Snively.
That's what Sonic Unleashed did.
Can a human impregnate an anthropomorphic animal?
Sonic Rush Adventure took place in another dimension.
