The Drop Bear/Koala is a stupid gimmick build for people who are either trying to be funny or want to show how hardcore they are by playing a gimped animal

Dropped this game as soon as they added humans, environments have gone to shit and 90% of previously viable classes have become obsolete. It fucking sucks as a honeybee main when you can't even utilise the swarm ability since all the other bee players either quit outright or play just to troll with kamikaze-ing humans

Humans are so OP. Servers with no Human players are still fun, but what were they thinking when they decided that Tool Use and Social Organization weren't enough and that Humans should also get the two most broken abilities in the game, Technology and Civilization

Are there any unofficial servers for the early Cambrian Explosion expansion? Hearing about all the shit that's going on in the current updates got me interested in coming back, but I really hate how it the developers started shilling. Cambrian was the last good update and you all know it.

Stats are only really useful for hardcore survival. Any of the domestic classes are easy mode because survival is practically garunteed.

They didn't add them intentionally. Some primate players just took advantage of the last Ice Age expansion to minmax. There was a brief moment where we thought the devs were going to nerf them out of the game, but then they got really popular and spread to nearly all the servers. I think the devs have gone on record saying thay they ended the ice age just to stop human players from dominating every single server.

Its funny reading about that now when you consider how the devs shill to human players so much now.

Don't get me wrong, it's good for new players and occasionally to roll one and just relax for a while.

Humans unfortunately have really bad RNG in their creation process. If you roll Negroid your INT ends up being capped unless you luck out. Likewise if you roll Asian you get an INT bonus, but you need the right environment to flourish still.

I don't think players realize just how bad RNG in humans are. Human mains talk all the time about how survival as other classes is all RNG, but I swear there's way more in Humans.

Panda has a good relax game. Specing deep into bamboo was obviously a mistake, but the since humans are so into the appearance build you keep can keep the free food without any DNA rights management. They might even try to make copies for you. If you get stuck in the wild you still have a bunch of free bamboo nobody else can use.

It's an MMO. Solo is no longer viable since like, thousands of patches ago. Tiger and bear are the only real solo contenders, and tiger is basically obsolete and only exists because humans felt bad for ganking them so bad.

Scorpions used to be even bigger in prehistoric patches but with the size crunch they're no longer viable.

The tier list does take into account the early game, and it's pretty rough for cheetah. If you are at the point where you able to hunt, you should be fine. According to the wiki, you are able to form "coalitions" when hunting, which is still one of the more overpowered tactics in the game.
