Pic related, I just got mine and I have 5 games (that are new to me) to catch up on.
Zelda, sonic, kingdom battle, shovel knight, cart 8. Never played any of them.
Holy shit its going to take a while and now I have mario to look forward to.
Can nintendo be more based?
Currently playing Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and loving it but taking a break now. I own Shovel Knight, Splatoon 2, BotW and Mario Kart 8 as well. I might pick up Rayman Legends or Sonic Mania next even though I haven't completed any of the games I currently own. Shit is tight

Have you got a pro controller? What do you think is the most comfy setup? I really don't like playing docked, but also I think the screen is too small unless I'm holding it 2 feet from my face.
Youll love Kingdom Battle, its easily becoming one of my favorite games of this year. Its great to just pick up and play after a long dat at work. How is Mania? Im kinda torn between that and Rayman Legends, even though I've played Legends before I fucking love it. The Pro Controller is very comfy and a blast to use especially with Splatoon. Im usually im bed with my Switch, with the stand up
Good to hear about kingdom battle. I like mania quite a bit, although I only made it to the second area. Haven't tried legends myself. I like my pro controller too, I think its really nice in the hand. My only complaint is that the sticks take a longer time to register movement on menus and stuff in zelda than I'm used to with other controllers including the joy cons. It could be just specific to that game. Splatoon is one I'm on the edge of purchasing too. What game are you most looking forward to? For me its Octopath Traveler.
I fucking love my switch, I have Mario+Rabbids, Arms, Sonic Mania, Splatoon, BOTW, MK8, Disgaea 5, Kamiko, Ultra SF2, Isaac, and I even got Minecraft on it. Preorder FE Warriors and Mario Odyssey. Probably my favorite console since the GameCube.
I just wish they would catch up in terms of OS features. So many basic functions missing.

Is Minecraft comfy on the switch? I played it several years ago on my laptop with a touchpad for maybe a week, and it was decent. I'm wondering how well it controls as a handheld.

Actually pretty damn comfy. It controls alright, if you played any of the other console versions. I'd still prefer sword and board for it but the switch is the ultimate indie console in my eyes. Pick up and play whenever I want, BoI and Minecraft are perfect for that. I'd love to see rougelikes like Dead Cells, FTL, and the like on the console.
I want save management and exporting. Just in case something ever happens to my console.
See the first part of my reply. It controls well, twin stick feels way better than WASD and arrow keys on PC.
I'd love all of them, the switch could easily replace my tablet.

Controls pretty damn good in my opinion. The joycons surprised me with how good they actually are.

Mania. Isaac probably has more replay value, but I don't care much for the game myself.

Thanks bros, im gonna get Mania even though my backlog is growing more each day. I only really have time for games I can pick up and play nowadays. I haven't touched my PS4 or PC in months, so the Switch is perfect

Because it has even less of a story. Normies care the most for cinematic, story based experiences.
When I bought it originally I sunk so many hours into it and it became one of my favorite games 4 years ago so yes. Its so charming and addictive, I dont agree that its one of the best platformers ever but its definitely up there.

i almost found them a lot nicer and tighter, especially the left joycon stick for movement as the range of motion is smaller than the pro controller stick. much tighter for blue spheres on handheld forsure

I was just playing the story mode of Puyo Puyo Tetris, but I'm fucking done. Fusion mode is absolute shit, and the fact that they're trying to force me to play it without an option to turn the AI to braindead easy made me stop playing and just watch the ending on Youtube.
Why should I put the time in to learn the mechanics of a mode I'll never touch again after the two battles I have left involving it?
